Jade and Maria walked into the mall with Denzel right behind them.

“Do you want one, Denzel?” Jade asked, selecting ice cream flavors.

“I'm good, ma'am.” He simply replied.

“What is your favorite flavor?” Jade asked again.

“Um.” Denzel adjusted a little. “Vanilla.”

“That's bullshit!” Jade looked at the flavors. “Who likes vanilla?”

“I like vanilla too.” Maria said.

Jade looked at her in disbelief. “You too? Shame.” She shook her head. “That's like the most plain flavor ever.”

Maria chuckled as she watched Jade study the ice cream.

“I think I know the perfect flavors for you two.” Jade looked at them and back at the man patiently waiting. “Mint and pineapple in a cone for the gentleman.” Jade waited for it to be scooped up and gave it to Denzel. “Try it you will love it.”

“I really shouldn't.” Denzel insisted.

“I won't repeat myself.” She held it out. “You won't come to the mall and not have ice cream at least.”
