There was no way she was going to go without Xavier so she followed them on the journey back to the palace.

Xavier was tied up, dragged to the throne room and dumped in front of the king.

Khalil bowed when he stood before the king and Jade stood beside him.

She couldn't believe she followed Khalil back to the palace.

Khalil signaled her to bowed and she hesitantly did.

She was used to people bowing to her instead, thanks to Xavier. So she felt weird when she bowed to show respect.

And aside from that, she never really think it was necessary to bow just to greet a royal personality.

Jade didn't like the way the king looked at her.

“I must say, Khalil, you made me proud today.” Laughter roared out of the king. “For capturing this animal, you will get a huge reward. Weldone.”

" Thank you, your highness.”

“And who's your beautiful friend?” The king who sat on his magnificent throne asked. “She is American. She doesn't belong, here dressed like that."

He found it offensive that she had
