I excused myself and went outside to take the call. “Minna,” I called her name as I picked up the call. “Something terrible has happened.” She said in between sobs. “What happened?” I asked, fear clawing at my heart. I knew it had to do something with my mum but I didn’t want it to be what I was thinking. She broke into tears. “It’s mum.” My heart sank at her words.
