A Lie

Sebastian stopped Henry from coming any closer to Elena.

“Stay away from here or I’ll shred you into pieces.” Sebastian sneered.

“She doesn’t even want you.” Henry retorted.

“And yet it doesn’t change the fact that she’s my mate. Does it?.” Sebastian said.

“Stay away from my Luna Henry, or else you won’t love the consequences.” He continued.

Sebastian took Elena in his arms, taking her back to his mansion. He had already called for a doctor before he got home, the doctor checking Elena the moment he laid her on the bed.

“She’s just shaken and well from what I’m guessing here inhaled a lot of smoke. I recommend lots of rest and I’ll give you something to clear her insides. She should be back to normal soon. Just let her rest it up. Her body needs it.” The doctor had explained to Sebastian before leaving.

Sebastian stood over Elena, worried that she would not wake.

‘She only fainted. Get a grip of yourself.’ He scolded himself internally.

Sebastian was restless as he left Elena to rest. He needed to find out who had actually done this. His suspicion still remained it was Henry but he had to admit Henry had a point.

Why would he give Elena up if he had already managed to take her away. Successfully might he add.

He was happy and thankful she was alright at least, within arms reach now. She wasn’t tied up in a burning warehouse!

He remembered how scared he had been when he had seen the video of her in such a horrible state. He could not believe anything could scare him the way that had scared him.

Sebastian contacted Agent Dart again. He tasked him with finding out who had done this to Elena.

He needed to know which of his enemies had gotten so audacious to play such a dirty trick on him with Elena’s life.

She could’ve died and he would’ve lost her forever. Sebastian had to remind himself that. Everything he was planning would’ve gone down the drain.

Sebastian was so antsy that he returned to the room to check on Elena. She laid on the bed sleeping peacefully as he admired her physical features

She was a petite woman with the most beautiful face he had ever seen but she had the brain of a bull! Elena’s stubbornness was something Sebastian knew he was going to have to deal with but first he concentrated on making sure she had something to eat.

He knew she could not eat anything solid so had his chefs make something else for Elena.

Elena still had not recovered herself. She felt too weak to do anything than lying wherever she was.

She felt someone help her sit up. Her body flamed up immediately she felt the person make her lean on his chest. Elena inhaled and was grateful what she perceived was a masculine scent of whoever was holding her, grateful it was not smoke.

Sebastian cared for Elena all through the night. He had been there at her side at every slight inconvenience Elena showed.

Elena woke up the next morning cocooned in the arms of a man. She noticed she felt so comfortable and at peace in whoever’s arms that held her.

Then her eyes flew wide open. That wasn’t right, she thought. Elena turned to see the man she was in bed with was Sebastian!

She tried to get up angrily but couldn’t, the mate bond pulling her closer to him.

For the first time, Elena felt her wolf stir up in her and she was surprised. It had been months! She was beginning to think she didn’t have her wolf anymore.

Was being close to Sebastian bringing her wolf back? Elena didn’t know, but she did know she didn’t want to be in Sebastian arms any longer.

Her minds flooded back to the previous day and all that had happened. She found it so convenient that Sebastian had been able to find her so quick. She didn’t believe any word that he had said to her and she hell as sure didn’t trust him.

Elena flung Sebastian hands away from her body as she tried to leave the bed but Sebastian was quick to pull her back.

“You’re awake.” He murmured into her hair as he inhaled her scent in. His body responding to her.

“Let me go.” Elena bit out struggling with Sebastian.

“Only if you agree to stay back in bed. Can’t have you parading around and getting yourself kidnapped or better worse loosing consciousness out of my sight.” Sebastian said.

Elena widened her eyes at him.

“You’re such an arrogant man. You know that? And no, I don’t want to stay anywhere close to you!.” Elena replied trying to leave but Sebastian pulled her back again, pinning her to the bed.

“You’ll stay here damn it! Do you always have to fight me on everything? Why can’t you see all I want to do is protect and care for you?.” Sebastian revealed.

Elena snorted at his words. They were nothing but lies to her.

Sebastian had not given her a reason to trust him, so she wasn’t going to do so.

“Get off me, this instant.” Elena gritted out.

“Do you promise to stay back in bed?.”

“Fine! Just get off me.” Elena said, her cheeks heating up.

She was all too aware of how close Sebastian was to her and worst of it all, he didn’t have a shirt on so his chiseled chest was out in display for her to look at.

The man was cocky, Elena thought. He surely must’ve slept without a shirt on purpose to try and get a reaction out of her. She stared flatly at Sebastian to mask away how she really felt about him being so close to her.

But it was useless as Sebastian already knew. He could feel her body responding to him with the way his hands held her down. They looked so hot together with the way he had her locked.

And yet, Sebastian sighed rolling off Elena. He didn’t want to scare her off knowing there was plenty of time for romance later. They could not deny the need for each other.

“You’re a disgusting pig.” Elena commented as she watched Sebastian eyes darken as he looked at her.

No doubt he had been thinking about something dirty and Sebastian could not deny it. He was thinking of doing dirty, sweet things to Elena’s body. He wanted to dominate her till she stopped being so stubborn when she was with him.

“If I wanted to be a disgusting pig, I would’ve tried something on you last night when you had let your hand wander to my cock when you were so snuggled on my chest.” Sebastian retorted.

It was a lie but he didn’t care as he got the reaction he wanted from Elena. She had turned crimson red in embarrassment.

Sebastian chuckled. “I’m kidding Elena. I’ll go get you some fruits.” Sebastian said leaving.

Elena sat on the bed glaring at him. Only when the door had been shut did she release her breath.

How was she ever going to survive being Sebastian’s mate? She asked herself because she didn’t like the idea of living in his house one bit!
