Was it truly possible that he had finally tamed this wild maiden or was it just for show? Remembering the times that he felt like the woman was just teasing him, sending signs that she was subservient at one time but then would immediately return to her rebellious attitude.
The way the lady would change her persona from strong to timid just drove him mad, increasing his need to dominate her even more. Not once has there been a woman in his life who was so complicated and untamable, that it just increased his wanting to make subdue the lady, making her servile to him.

There was this amazing mouth-watering waft that cause Maxwell's senses, his eyes immediately opened catching the scent of a very meaty yet earthy taste within the air. His eyes quickly looked around seeing the sudden brightness within the whole place, making him jolt up. Without so much as flinching his hands were already grabbing hold of his sword as he stood up, grabbing on the hilt of it he was ready to unsheathe it when he stood up, yet immediately stopped when he noticed that he was still in the cave.His forehead wrinkled when he finally saw the sudden changes within the place, he was now thinking if he had been sent to another place or was it some kind of illusion to make the place look good.The cave didn’t look like a cave anymore, it resembled more an area within a commoner’s home. There were furnishing within the wall and in the middle of the place, such as tables and counters, the floor was no longer earthy and swerving.
