Though the captain did not say it out loud, she could feel it as the subject was never brought up, even within the days that came.
She knew she had made a mistake bringing up the thought of staying there. As the moment the captain saw the clear skies he suggested they move forward and continue to proceed of finding a way out to escape that place.
That was why she remained silent as they began traversing the land, they moved through the thick and lush forest in haste.

The man was already in a deep state of sleep, his body began to turn cold, and his color started turning pale as the purplish venom could be seen continuing to crawl inside his veins. Not giving a second thought Karilaya quickly pulled the man out of the river, not having enough energy to use her magic after throwing several spells against the giant serpent, she was barely able to use her magic to move the man who weighed almost thrice her own. Max brushed his fingers on the pole that was still very much solid, too nicely preserved for something that was covered in plants and being subjected to very turmoils of inconsistent weather.
