Chapter LVIII

Max brushed his fingers on the pole that was still very much solid, too nicely preserved for something that was covered in plants and being subjected to very turmoils of inconsistent weather. He turned his gaze around, the trees were quite less dense here and looked more familiar than before, though they were still quite large in size.

There were also places that were too well flattened along with having a few slab stones that were properly and neatly placed along the ground. A lot of things did not make sense to him now, as long as he could remember the storm lands were said to be uninhabitable by normal people, so why was it that there was a place like that there.

Besides that, he could not help the disturbing feeling that has been scratching inside of him because of the lack of large beast around them. He did see some corpses and some piles of bones but they were all stacked up together like they’ve been properly placed.
