Lily’s POV

We got back to the castle without any of us talking to each other. I was trying to get my mind off the fact that he had sex with Valerie without feeling remorseful while all I felt was pain.

How long do I have to deal with this? He doesn't want me but he's keeping me around and messing with my emotions. I hated that mate bond is making things pretty difficult for me because I couldn't get him out of my head.

I sniffed, wiping my tears. There's no way I would waste my tears on someone that wasn't worth it. We got to the front of his room only to see Valerie standing there. As soon as she saw me, she smirked at me before running to Logan.

She pressed a kiss on his lips, smiling. "Where did you go? I woke up to see that you have left. How could you leave like that after the hot night we spent together. I wasn't even done with you and there's more to come. I'm also sure you want more of me." She purred, rubbing her hands over his chest.
