Chapter 29

Lily’s POV

I dragged my feet back to the castle naked, not caring if anyone sees me. I was exhausted from shifting and my body was sore. I forced the thought of how Logan pushed me away like I had acid on my body out of my head. I didn't want to think about it.

I got to the front of his room, took in a deep breath and opened it. His scent wasn't strong which meant that he wasn't in the room. I was relieved and disappointed. I shouldn't be, but I was.

I quickly had a shower and crawled into my bed but I couldn't sleep. I kept turning and tossing. I was restless. I could tell Logan wasn't back because I left the door of my room opened so I could hear when he walked in.

"Argh! Why can't I sleep?" I pulled on my hair before pushing the covers off my body and groaned out in frustration before leaving the room to go on a walk, to see if I'd be able to clear my head.

I didn't know where I was going because I wasn't totally familiar with the insides. The plan initially was to go to the kit
