Lily's POV

Everyone in the kitchen gasped as soon as Valerie mentioned that I would be serving the Alpha’s cousin.

"That won't be possible, Luna. I don't think she'll be able to do that." Avery said to Valerie. "The Alpha gave me an order to make sure I'm the one that gets to serve his cousin. I'd be going against his orders if you decide to assign someone else to do it."

Valerie scoffed. "You worry too much, Avery. I'm just coming from Logan's study and he told me to be in charge here. Relax, you won't be going against his orders."
