Chapter 26

Lily’s POV

My wolf was beautiful beyond comparison and I wasn't expecting it to be white. I turned to my side over and over again, checking it out.

I was neither too big nor too small. I was like the normal average sized wolf. I splashed the water with my paw happily and all of a sudden, I felt like swimming but not in my wolf form.

"Laura, how do I go back to my human form?" I asked my wolf, not sure about how to go about it.

"Oh, it's pretty easy, just imagine yourself in your human form."

"That's just it? Would it be as painful as earlier?" I asked, I really don't want to ever feel what I felt when I was shifting to my wolf.

Laura chuckled. "No, it won't be painful. I'll be here to make it easier for you so just close your eyes and picture your human form."

I closed my eyes and my bones started to snap and pop. I felt my body coming back in place and by the time I opened my eyes, I was in my human form. It wasn't actually so painful but it was uncomfortable.
