Heather POVThe Thatcher brothers had done a pretty good job of cooking supper. They made burgers and sausages as well as pulling out the last of the macaroni and potato salad. We danced, we talked, we sang most of us off key, but hey, it was fun and that is all that mattered at the time.Dawn and Zane seemed to be doing Ok, Meg and Quinn were good. Lucas POV The next morning was quiet. We had breakfast cleaned and packed up. For the most part, things seemed OK. The three of us didn’t talk about what happened the night before, mainly because we were unsure of it ourselves. The other thing that appeared odd was the tension that was around Quinn and Meg. After how happy they were yesterday, I had no idea what could have happened, but there have been all kinds of weird things going on around the lake lately, so who knows. Heather POV I shouldn’t be letting them do this, that is the thought that goes through my head just before I hear throats being cleared. Oh no.
