Chapter 68

Heather POV

The Thatcher brothers had done a pretty good job of cooking supper. They made burgers and sausages as well as pulling out the last of the macaroni and potato salad. It wasn’t anything fancy, but hey, I didn’t have to cook it. There wasn’t anyone from the Silver River pack that was staying with us tonight. There were only about twenty or so of us left. The ten of us, along with the Thatcher brothers and a few others. A bunch of the guys had started up a game of volleyball after everything from supper had been cleaned up. I was sitting on the grass watching the game with Dawn when she leaned over and put her head on my shoulder, letting out a big sigh. “Ok what’s up? Even though you said you weren’t mad at Zane anymore, you still haven’t been all that friendly towards him.”

She sighs again. “I don’t know if I believed him when he said that he didn’t kiss anyone last night.”
