Chapter 4

Lana shared a ride with Eva , sure she was the young mistress of the King household but she never held anything else other than the title . Xander  didn't even purposed to her with a proper wedding ring .The wedding ring that Xander gave her was a simple silver ring without a diamond .The owner of King industries actually gave something so cheap to his soon to be wife .How could he gift her a car? 

Her mother in law and grandfather in law ofcourse gifted her with villas and a small village farms but all of them held a certain significance  and cannot be sold. 

And Lana wasn't someone who was going to be stupid once again if she doesn't have a car now ,she will work hard in future to make sure she has one .

"Gosh what a bitch ! " ever since they finished their breakfast Eva was in  terrible mood 

"Honestly only my foolish brother would love someone like her ; can't he see that bitch deliberately had the kitchen make that pasta dish ! " 

Just remembering what happened this morning Eva felt that she was going to die from anger, Ella was such a manipulative bitch but her brother still treated her so nicely as if Ella was the only pure lady in the world .

"Don't get angry Eva " At Eva  anger , Lana could only placate the other party after all there wasn't much they could do .Xander  loved Ells and spoiled her rotten , if someone were to say that Ella did something so despicable Xander would probably shoot the other party to make sure no one spoke bad about Ella ever again, this was the level of Xander  's love for Ella .

However, Eva didn't calm down instead she started to throw more and more malicious words in honour of Ella. Left with no choice Lana could only nod her head in agreement .

Lana  and Eva seperated their ways when they reached college .Eva was doing a major in interior designing where as Lana was studying chemical engineering .Lana had poor EQ but her I Q was great especially in Perfumes. In her past life under others influence Lana helped Ella a lot , many people asked her to act magnanimous and gentle and help her rival . They said that as long as she could soften her stance considering Ella , Xander  will also soften up and accept her .What Lana didn't know at that time was that those people were in league  with Ella .Not only did Xander not soften up but Ella also  gained a lot of fame from her hard work! 

Oh how foolish she was , she was the one who worked hard but it was Ella who stood to gain .

"Lana !" 

When Lana was busy in her thoughts a shrill voice called her out , Lana turned around and felt her heart go cold .The woman was none other than her half sister , Kristine . Kristine was her sister yet she helped Ella a lot in a previous life ; she also gained a lot of success by helping Ella.

Kristine was dressed in short skirt ;denim jacket and white tank top .Kristine considered herself quite beautiful but in front of Lana  , she was nothing .Even with layers of makeup  , She couldn't beat Lana's charming looks . Previously , Lana wore worn down dresses thus she didn't look so good but after getting married to Xander ; her dressing style changed as well , which added charm umto her already existing beauty .

Kristine was jealous of Lana  not only was she jealous of Lana  getting married to Xander but she also felt envious of Lana 's looks .

"Yo, had a proper wedding night,? Did Xander  touched you at all? don't tell me you are still intact ? " 

Kristine  knew of Ella and Xander 's relationship thus she decided to prick on Lana 's wounds .

"So what if he didn't? So what if he did ? What does my and my husband's private life has to do with you ? Don't forget that I don't consider you lot as my family , don't act so close to me !" 

Lana wasn't a fool anymore , she didn't agreed nor did she denied whether Xander slept with her or not if she agreed then Kristine  will send the voice recording to Xander  and if she denied then Kristine  will make sure to bring her reputation to shreds after all Kristine  was part of high socialite group .Bringing someone's reputation down was an easy feat for People like Kristine . 

With that Lana turned around and left , Kristine  watched Kristine walk away and stomped her feet in anger . Just a few days and Lana had grown brain , she was no longer the impulsive brat that Kristine  knew . She thought that if she poked fun at Lana right now, the latter will definitely loose her cool but Not only did Lana didn't loose her cool she even made such arrogant remarks . 

No this won't do she will need to bully Lana 's twin brother, Nico  in lunch today or else she will die of anger but what Kristine  didn't know that Lana has already asked Nico  for lunch and the latter will not be found when Kristine  search for him .

Lana and Nico were illegitimate children of Adam Stewart's  , therefore they never had money to buy food from the canteen of Royal  University .Infact even their fees were paid because of the scholarship that they won .

And as for the black card that The housekeeper of King family , Abel gave her on behalf of the King family .She would never use it , unless she was hanging of the cliff and the only way to survive was to exchange a million dollars for her life ; only then will she use her card .

Lana ordered two bowls of beef noodles, the shop that she and her brother usually go was really cheap .They  only need to pay for five dollars  for a bowl of noodles .

Once Lana finished ordering; Nico arrived as well unlike Lana who had changed drastically, Nico was still the same . Wearing a worn down black shirt and blue jeans  ,Nico still looked as Lana remembered .
