Cassandra's POV

I stepped into the bustling restaurant, scanning the room for Jason among the sea of strangers. My eyes finally landed on him, sitting at a corner table near the window and I began walking to him.

Now that I took a good look at him, he had changed physically since five years ago. His hairstyle was different now and his carriage was no more as haughty as it used to be.

Was that just because he was about to meet up with me? I doubted it very much. Or was it divorcing Ana that did that? That was possible... I wondered why and how those two had gotten divorced though.

Ana had loved the status he had socially, economically and even as a werewolf and as for him, he just loved her, deeply and stupidly from the stories Ana had shared.

Jason soon looked up and noticed me then his face twisted into a smile. Before I could reach the table, he stood up and pulled out a chair for me.

"Thank you," I muttered as I sat down and he also sat down.

"What would you like to order?" He ques
