Liam's POV

I sat on the couch, watching the television when I heard the sound of the gates of the compound swinging open. I immediately concluded that it would be Cassandra who had gone out and walked to open the door.

On coming out however, my eyes met the sight of a moving car that looked nothing like Cassandra's and was probably way more expensive than hers. Was it...

The car drove to the front of the house before starting to reverse and as I saw the boys jumping about excitedly in the back seat of the car, my suspicion was confirmed. It was the children's father like I had guessed.

My mind started filling with conflicting emotions as I watched the car pull over and their father come out after turning off the car. My confusion was due to a war of thoughts on how I was going to treat this Jason.

A part of me wanted to be nice to him, the larger part actually, as all that had happened wasn't really his fault. He had hurt Cassandra and made foolhardy decisions but, that was all in the
