Chapter 69

Cassandra's POV

I walked through the front door, the boys trailing behind me, their laughter still lingering in the air. I couldn't help but feel a sense of joy from the day we had spent with Jason, the children's biological father. It had been a beautiful experience, seeing the boys connect with him and build a bond.

I was supposed to be angry at Jason but somehow, I ended up having fun with him instead. I raised my defense once we were done with playing though and now, we were finally home.

As I entered the living room, I found Liam waiting for me with his arms crossed and even though his expression was neutral, I could tell he was annoyed. However, I chose to ignore that as I couldn't understand why he was so jealous.

"Hey Liam!" I greeted him.

"Daddy!" The kids called out in a similarly excited tone and ran to hug Liam.
