Cassandra's POV

The elevator doors dinged as they slid open and I stepped out, finally having arrived at the first floor of Jason's company building where his office was located.

"Good day," I greeted his secretary, a different person from the secretary who was here when I came here several weeks ago.

Jason was a very merciless person so it wasn't hard to figure what had happened to the lady who was previously his secretary.

"I'm here to see the chairman, I believe you received a call from the receptionist just a few minutes ago," I spoke once my greeting had been replied.

"Oh... You're welcome, Miss. He said that you can be ushered in once you arrive," the secretary smiled and began leading me to Jason's office.
