According to Lucas, a rumor about Jackie had been swirling in the hospital. She was said to have slept with the hospital director to secure her job. As a bachelor's degree holder without any relevant experience, she couldn't have possibly jumped ship from a community hospital to a top hospital in the nation.

After Jackie joined St. George Hospital, she proved to be incompetent. All she did was hang around Joshua all day. She gave her patients an attitude and often prescribed the wrong medicine. Not only that, she refused to admit to her mistakes and shifted the blame onto her colleagues.
