Episode 6

THE WEREWOLF POPSTAR

When I came downstairs after last night's party, I unintentionally ran into Derek's brother. I would never want to meet him, and not at this hour of the morning.

"Good morning, Sarah."

He grabbed a few plastic bottles from the fridge and threw one at me immediately.

I With my quick reflexes, I managed to catch it before it could fly over my head.

"Good morning." Following that nearly embarrassing incident, I replied.

"I would like to ask you a question, Sarah." Then he suddenly became serious. Even though I really did not want to answer his question, I had no other option.

"What are you interested in knowing?" I started a conversation with him.

Samson said with a slight smile.

"What made you decide to collaborate with my brother?" He turned to face me and put a hand on his chin.

When I heard his question, it sounded foolish and gave the impression that he was envious of his younger brother. I frequently receive questions like this, and aside from Derek's werewolf status, I do not see any reason why I should not want to go for a walk with him. Or is there?

"What is happening?"

When Elenore arrived, she cut us off in our tracks. I was able to leave with the water bottle in my hand and act as though nothing had happened because of her.

I After I returned to my bedroom, Derek's manager, Samuel, summoned me to his bedroom. Although Samuel is married and appears to have Derek's back, I had to reconsider my decision to go over there because he would not want to do anything that would annoy him.

A Remember a werewolf?

"You must go to the pharmacy right away, Sarah." He pulled out a few bucks and gave them to me.

" Really? Is Derek sick? What happened? He nods his head in response to my question.

Samuel gives me a letter to give to the pharmacy lady after asking me to meet her as soon as I get there.

After traveling for nearly an hour, I finally met the woman and gave her the woman Samuel had requested.

The woman read the text, and without answering, she went into the tiny room behind her and took some syringes and medications and gave them to me.

" Take this, and please watch out." She provided detailed instructions. When I got the bags with the medication in them, I thanked her and walked out of the pharmacy.

I After returning before anyone noticed, I handed Samuel the bag.

"Does everything fit inside? He questioned me.

" Yes! Yes, it is. I nodded my head in agreement.

After thanking me, Samuel pleaded with me to return to my bedroom. That is where I was when my controlling and obnoxious mother called.

Was she phoning me since she never does?

" Greetings, ma'am. As soon as I picked up her phone, I said.

"How are things going for you and Derek, Sarah?" On the phone, she asked me, sounding affectionate and as though she truly missed me.

"He is fine, but why did you call him?" I quickly got to the reason she called, since she never calls me without attempting to get something from me or asking me to do something heinous for her.

"What? Is it not possible for me to call my own daughter? During the phone call, she gimped as if I had said something that truly made her laugh. She never shows any concern for me, and that has been the case since Dad left, when all I said was the truth.

Her perspective shifted, and she began to consider how to earn enough money to support us.

"You made the call because you were missing me?"

Since I find arguments over the same thing to be pointless and annoying, I chose to believe her.

MoWhen Mom agreed with me over the phone, she made noise. Before it disconnected, we spoke for a little while. I doubt that she called me because she was missing me; something did happen, but she was unsure of how to explain it.

Mrs. Edwina asked me to assist her in the kitchen later that day. She requested that I pick up the plates and set them on the dining table so that other people could sit in front of them. Eleanor was the first person to emerge from her bedroom after I complied with her request.

The more I try to win her approval, the more obnoxious she gets and the more she wants me out of her brother's life. She was looking disgusted at me as usual.

"Hello, good morning."

Samuel and Derek return for breakfast shortly after. I thought Derek must have benefited from the drugs because he appeared to be in good health.

"Good morning," I said with a smile that was just as broad.

He took a chair when his older brother arrived and waited impatiently for his breakfast to be served, just like the others.

Samuel and I were not even given a grain of rice until Mrs. Edwina had served her children. In Derek's family, things are different from courtesy insistence that guests be served first.

After breakfast, Samuel left me to find Derek because he needed to make a crucial phone call.

Hello, would you like something?"

I I looked over my shoulder and asked.

" No! I am doing fine. While playing a game on his phone, he was preoccupied with something else.

Since Candy Crush is one of the endless games that I absolutely hate, he appeared to be fairly skilled at playing it.

Before Eleanor arrived and challenged her brother to a game of basketball on their family court, I stood there and watched him without saying anything.

ToI had assumed it would be all the basketball I had grown up with, but as soon as we got to their family court, I realized it was more than just the human kind; there were strange rituals and so forth.
