Chapter One

"No...No...No..." She woke up breathing heavily from the same nightmare again. "what's wrong with me and this same nightmare? Can this have anything to do with me or what ?" She was still deep in thought when Mrs. Klein shouted her name outside her door. " Mom, I've told you to stop shouting because the more you shout , the more you become ol..." She couldn't complete her sentence when Mrs. Klein held her ears twisting it and scolding her, "How dare you little brat call me an old woman for your information I'm still in my early forties and very beautiful too why do you think your dad loves me.". " Ouch, Mom I'm very, very sorry. I should have known better than trying to call you an old woman. Can you please forgive your little Princess just this once ? " Mrs. Klein was about to reply when her husband suddenly entered the room . "What's happening here my precious ladies?" Mr. Klein asked. " Darling can you believe your daughter just called me an old woman just because I shouted her name." Mr. Klein turned to Stella" Young lady who told you to call my lovely wife an old woman for your information she's in her early forties..." They kept on blabbering till Stella saw the time and gasped. "Oh no I have a meeting with a new client. I have to quickly take a shower."

FAST FORWARD

Stella entered her company and was greeted by her secretary. "Good morning ma'am, please the investors are waiting for you." " I hope I'm not late for the meeting?" "No ma'am they just came. " They entered the room and behold there sat a very handsome and cute guy and also well dressed but also having this strange aura that Stella couldn't figure out who he really is. "I can see you like what you're seeing but I'm not here to be admired by you and your secretary, so let's get to business." David said arrogantly and Stella scoffed," Hmmph, he's cute but very arrogant and proud" Stella said inwardly. "Alright let the meeting begin." As the meeting was going on David was lost in thought," She has grown to be more beautiful and sexy just my type of girl but not her. I can't believe she doesn't recognize me or is she just pretending..." David was still deep in thought when he felt a light tap on his thigh and he turned to see his secretary signalling him to concentrate. David turned to his secretary, "Charles had it not been that you're my best friend, you would've heard from me." Charles just shook his head and concentrated on what was going on since he knows the kind of friend he has. The meeting came to a successful end and the contract was signed by both parties. It was time for David and Charles to leave but David excused himself saying he has something important to discuss with Stella. Stella was standing in her office thinking when she heard a knock on the door. "Come in" she turned and saw David standing behind her with a smirk on his face. "You know you've still not changed because I can clearly remember how you used to drool on me whenever you see me but anyways I'm not here to exchange pleasantries with but just know one thing I can make you more rich if you agree to have a one night stand with me. " All these while Stella has been standing there and looking at him with a confused and disgusted face. " You know something, you're not just arrogant and proud but rather a jerk and one spoilt bastard I wish never to come across with. What do you take me for as a slut or a whore" You know something, get out of my office and never step here with your filthy body again and spend that useless money on one of your cheap sluts not me Stella Bill Klein." She said angrily but David isn't someone who gives up easily so he made to touch her butt when he was welcomed with a resounding slap. " Never try such shit with me again. Now get out of my office now!" Though he felt embarrassed, he didn't let it show on his face. " Just know that I'll have you screaming on my bed baby." With that said he left the office and drove his car out of the company and went straight home

DAVID'S POV

"Guy just so you know Stella is not that type of girl and moreover she has nothing to do with what happened in the past so chill and don't try to harm the innocent girl all in the name of revenge." With this being said, David was reminded of his past and how his parents were murdered in cold blood by Stella's parents. "Charles that girl isn't as innocent as you say. She helped her parents murder my parents so what makes you think she's innocent tell me!". David shouted punching the wall with droplets of tears falling from his eyes but he immediately wiped it off. " I searched for her for years to question her just to here the truth from her own mouth but she was hiding no, no but rather busily enjoying herself whilst I was broken. Can you believe she acted like she knows me from nowhere even when I went to her office just to get on her nerves. This girl is just a hypocrite like her parents." David said fuming with anger. Charles just looked at his friend with nothing but pity. " How about this do a background research about her without her knowledge and if she's just pretending or not . It can be that for all those years something also happened to her." David thought about it with a clenched fist hoping Stella's greedy parents didn't harm their daughter. This thought alone pushed him to do a background research about her without Stella's knowledge.

Charles went to his room after having that conversation with his friend praying he doesn't harm Stella all because of his stubborn decision. He been trying all his possible best to let him reason with him but a dickhead that he is will never listen to him. " I hope he listens to me just this once and do as I've asked him to do." He gave a hard sigh before lying on his bed and plugging an earpiece to listen to some soft music. David on the other side called one of his spy to do a background research about Stella Bill Klein without letting her know. He decided to listen to his friends advice just to make him happy because he knows when Charles is not happy with him.
