CHAPTER FORTY-TWO

As they stepped out for their outing, David expected to be the center of attention, basking in the admiration of others. But to his surprise, Stella stole the show, receiving compliment after compliment from passersby. David's smile began to falter, his eyes narrowing with each praise directed at his wife.
