CHAPTER FIVE

TWO WEEKS LATER

Stella was finally discharged from the hospital and she couldn't tell how happy she was from leaving the devil's cage. For her going to the hospital is more or less like entering the devil's cage. David wasn't able to pick her up because he was busy with some clients who needed his attention. At first didn't want to go but Stella pleaded with him to attend to his clients. Charles picked her up and sent her home. Immediately she entered the house the faces of their maids and bodyguards brightened up seeing their beautiful madam back home and strong. Stella responded to their tons of greetings before entering her bedroom. She was done bathing and drying her hair when she heard her phone ringing. "Hello, this is Stella Bill Klein talking how may I help you?" Stella teased knowing fully well that she was talking to David. David was with a frown on his face thinking Stella hasn't saved his number or she was probably playing dumb and decided to play along. " Since you don't know who is talking this is David King the richest young CEO and every girls dream. The one who can make you fall head over..." he couldn't complete his sentence when Stella cut in." So what are you driving at. Don't be too proud and boastful since you and I know that you can't stand my beautiful charm and I have a lot of men falling for me and proposing to me."Stella said boastfully but someone was fuming with jealousy." And you accept their proposal right. I thought I warned you not to let any man come closer to you, talk more of expressing their feelings to you." David said. "And what right do you have over me because the last time I checked we're not dating neither are we married so what makes you think that I'll obey your order or should I say command Mr."Stella replied trying not to get angry. "Young lady if you don't know you belong to only me and no one else so you have no right to talk to other males or else..." David tried threatening Stella. " Or else what you're soo annoying arghh... You know what goodnight bye" Stella didn't wait for his reply before hanging up on him. "Such nerves of him to tell me that shit. Can't believe he called me just to argue with me, couldn't he wait till tomorrow before he tries bringing up an argument." "But you were the one who started it." Her subconscient said but she was quick to deny the fact that she started it. She dressed up and retired to bed feeling exhausted from her little misunderstanding with David. David was still fuming with anger thinking about other men proposing to his Stella. Though he didn't know why he was angry over what Stella told him but he believed that he wasn't in love with her and slept off.

The next day he woke up early and dressed up only to go and meet Stella still sleeping and placing order not to be woken up till she wakes up by herself. He called her name several times but she didn't respond. He went to the bathroom and and fetched a little water in his hand before sprinkling it on her face. Stella woke up ready to scream at who ever did that only to see David standing there dressed up. She was surprised because she wasn't expecting to see him after their little quarrel."When you're done staring at my handsome face, let me know."David said proudly. "You think so high of yourself. I wonder what those girls see in you" Stella replied a little jealous. "Can you smell what I'm smelling. I can smell jealousy around me." David teased. "Excuse me, I need to shower and when I say excuse me I mean leave my room.""Can I help you in taking your bath. I'm good at that."David said teasingly. "You this pervert get out of my room." Stella replied blushing hard.

Stella finished bathing and entered her room with the towel wrapped around her body showing her spotless thighs. She felt the presence of someone in her room. She turned only to see David staring at her lustfully. She made to scream but David was quick to cover her mouth to prevent those outside from hearing her. "You look so tempting in this towel or did you do that just to seduce me." David teased her."David what are you doing can't you see I'm trying to dress up and this isn't proper"Stella replied feeling uncomfortable with their closeness. "Really babe, I'm just trying to help you clean your body."He replied kissing her neck down to her shoulder earning a moan from her. He quickly turned her around to face him and carried her to sit on the table while kissing her."Tell me you don't love this and I'll stop." He said knowing fully well that she wouldn't reject him."David... w...what if some... someone comes... I... I mean my parents." She said in-between the kiss."No one will come in Darling. And don't be scared I won't go far I promise."They continued kissing for sometime before David stopped himself since he was loosing control of himself. He decided to help her dry her hair and selected a nice outfit for her. He went outside just to avoid loosing control of himself when he sees her getting dressed. After Stella was done, she went outside only to meet David at the dining table holding her drugs. "What is he doing with the drugs or did they tell him she hasn't been taking her medicines. Those snitches she has as workers might have sold her out." She thought inwardly. "David what are you doing with the drugs and why are you looking at me with those eyes of yours like I've done something really bad."She said laughing awkwardly."Young lady, have you been taking in your drugs?" He asked with a serious face. She knows when he calls her young lady it means he's not in to pamper her. "I... I... yeah I planned on taking it this morning" she lied but David already knows the kind of girl Stella is. "Come and eat your food and take in your drugs now." He said leaving no space for her to object. She did as she was and the workers were surprised at her sudden obligation. Stella looked at them with you'll hear from me eyes but they were quick to act like they weren't the ones. David saw this and wanted to laugh but he held it in." That's my girl now let's go." He said trying to hold her hand but she walked pass him going outside. "Such a headache she is." David whispered to his own hearing. "How do you expect me to go out with you when you don't want to talk to me. I guess I'll have to come back another time." David said faking to be serious. " Umm... No don't go, I'm not angry at you. Moreover it'll will be more fun to go on an outing than to stay indoor doing nothing." She said holding him tightly like her whole life depends on him. They entered the car and the chauffeur drove out of the mansion."David... David... David you're not responding are you angry at me."She asked when she heard no response from him. " One thing I know about you is that you're very worrisome. How can I help you." David replied his over pampered girl. " Where are we going" She asked with her head on his chest." You want to know right, come and sit on my laps and I'll tell you." He said. Stella did as he said expecting him to tell her but David had something else running in his mind."I'll tell you but first you need to give me a peck on my cheeks or no that one is too simple babe. Why don't you give me a kiss till I'm unable to resist you or accept you then you'll know where we're going to."He said but someone was feeling shy so she hid her face on his chest." The driver is in the car and you're telling me to kiss you." She whispered to his hearing. David didn't take this as an excuse since his driver is concentrating on the road. "Are you doing it or not, maybe you can wait patiently till we arrive after all it's just seven hours more to arrive." David replied. Stella not being the patient type decided to kiss him shortly on his lips." Was that meant to be a kiss" David said not expecting a reply from her. Stella decided to give him another kiss and when she tried pulling out from the kiss David held her back and deepened the kiss. He pulled out when he felt they needed air and continued after sometime. Stella broke the kiss when she realized he has had enough."Now tell me where we're going to." She questioned expecting an answer from him but David wasn't prepared to let her know."It's a surprise darling." was all he could tell her. Someone was fuming with anger and turned her back to face him. "Is someone angry at me. I bet she'll love every bit of the surprise or I should cancel it since she's angry" David teased. "Mr. James can you turn around and take us back home"David said to his driver. " Mr. James a surprise is a surprise let's continue the journey."Stella stepped in before Mr. James would think of sending them back home. She then turned to David and said, "Is not that I want to see the surprise nope, I just don't want Mr. James to waste his time that's all". David looked at the lady beside him with a smile on his face. "Mr. James let's continue the journey. The reason doesn't make any... alright babe." He cut his words short when he saw the looks he was receiving from her. Stella moved closer to David making him look at her. "David I'm feeling sleepy and tired." She said when she saw the questioning look on his face. " So clingy come here. After all I'm the one spoiling you." She laid her head on his chest looking at his face. "What is it again. You talk too much whenever you're sleepy. Spill it I'm listening." Caught red-handed she asked him. "Ummm... you know as handsome as you are, why don't you have a girlfriend." "When you're being clingy do you expect them to come close to me. Have you forgotten soo soon that you're my only girlfriend and wife to be?" He added. Stella felt shy and decided to sleep but David wasn't satisfied. "Baby don't you have any question or you felt unsecured. Darling just know my heart belongs to only you my wife to be."He teased." I think the sleep is now coming."She said closing her eyes and dozing off.
