Chapter 6

After she finished changing, she makes her way to her house but stops in her track after seeing my back view.

She contemplates whether to run or come forward and at the end, the fear in her wins.

She tries to escape but I speak out and that make her drop the idea of escaping. 

She starts to shiver and I walk closer to her to know what her problem is. She stammers whiles answering my question and also doesn't make eye contact with me.

I shout at her at look into my eyes and that makes her break into uncontrollable tears. 

I pull her into my arms and try to comfort her but I fail easily because it's my first time doing that and I know that I failed at it.

I make a mental note to learn from Ramos and Kade how to be sweet and caring to your mate.

I don't want to ever see her cry again because her tears are like knives stabbing my heart.

She faints in my arms from crying too much so  I pick her up and craddle her in my arms. 

I sit down in her sofa and snuggle into her neck to inhale her scent . That's the only thing that can calm my raging heart and emotions down.

She sleeps in my embrace for hours before waking up. The moment she realize she in my embrace, she tries to escape but I stop her and put her down calmly to avoid hurting her.

Adelaide blushes as she remember what her wolf told her before she fainted. 

She turns to face Kyle and is surprised that he has been watching her since he placed her down.

I'm sorry for staining your shirt, she told him as she pointed to where the stains of her tears were.

It's okay mi amore, I hope you are feeling better now.  She nods timidly and looks down once again avoiding eye contact with him.

Why do you always look down when talking, he asked her. It's because I'm the Omega of the pack and I have been instructed by the Alpha to never have eye contact with the pack members, she told him.

Don't worry, you can look in my eyes when talking to me okay. No one can harm you whiles I'm here and also you are my mate so we are equals . There's no need for you to look down when talking to me.

I hesitate but he holds my chin and raise it up till our eyes meet. He has the most beautiful green eyes I have ever seen. They look like the evergreen forest.

I hold her face in my hands and stare in her beautiful eyes. You are too beautiful my love, never think otherwise okay.

I nod and he leaves my chin after pecking my forehead . Now will you mind to tell me your beautiful name,  he ask.

Adelaide, I tell him. Woow you have a very nice name that suits your beauty, he tells me.

I smile bashfully and cover my blushing face. I don't want to disgrace myself infront of my mate.

 Adelaide  before I introduce myself to you, I want you to know that, I'm not as bad as people have painted me to be.

And also even though I'm not a saint, I'm also not a Demon. So please be patient and listen to my side before you decide whether to accept or reject me as your mate.

My heart begins to pound rapidly as I fear that the infront of me is the Demon everyone is afraid of.

But as I try to run away from him, my wolf reminds me of what the moon goddess told me about my mate.

I sit down and face him to listen to his side of the stories that are circulating around.

First of all my name is Kyle Aston, the Alpha of Black Crystals Pack. My parent died from a rough attack when I was 12 years so I took over the Alpha position at the age of 12.

And yes I have fought many battles and killed many people but I have never killed an innocent person and I never will.

All these years, I allowed these news to circulate in order to protect my pack because I wasn't that strong to fight all the enemies that were after me.

And after I became strong, it became a hussle for me to clear my name so it left it the way it is.
