Daisy’s POV

The next morning started like any other. Daisy woke up early, made breakfast, and helped the kids get ready for school. Their laughter filled the house, and for a moment, everything felt normal.

She kissed each child on the forehead. "Be good today," she said, smiling.

They climbed into the SUV with their nanny, waving goodbye as the car drove off.

Daisy stood at the front door, holding her warm mug of tea. The cold breeze brushed against her skin, but she didn’t mind. It felt peaceful for the first time in days.

She went back inside, thinking she would catch up on work. But something didn’t sit right. Her chest felt heavy, like a warning. She shrugged it off and walked to her desk.

Her phone buzzed.

A message from the nanny: "Arrived at school safely. Kids are in class."

Daisy smiled and put the phone down.

But miles away, things were not safe.

A black van was parked near the school. A man sat inside, watching through dark sunglasses. He checked his phone.

Plan B. Take one of the kids. Make it hurt.

He looked at the photo of a child—the youngest girl, Ayra. Five years old. Sweet, kind, small for her age.

She would be the easiest to take.

He got out of the van, put on a security guard jacket, and walked confidently toward the school.

At lunch break, the children played on the school field. The teachers watched, but the man walked past them like he belonged there.

He approached Ayra with a kind smile. "Your mommy sent me. She wants you to come with me."

Ayra blinked up at him. "She did?"

"Yes. She said it’s urgent. We need to go now."

She nodded slowly. "Okay."

The man picked her up and carried her toward the parking lot.

Daisy POV

Back at home, Daisy felt uneasy again. Her hands shook as she reached for her phone.

She called the nanny.

"Hello? Everything okay?"

"Yes," the nanny replied. "Three of them are playing in the yard."

Daisy paused. "Three? Not four?"

There was silence. A complete one.

"Ayra was supposed to be picked up by someone from your office," the nanny said. "He had a badge. Said you sent him."

Daisy s blood ran cold.

"I didn’t send anyone!"

She dropped the phone and ran outside to her car

She drove faster than she ever had before. Her mind wasn't at rest-Her breath came in short gasps.

Someone took her. Someone took Ayra.

She called the school. "Lockdown now! Call the police! One of my children has been taken!"

The receptionist screamed and dropped the phone.

At his Luxurious apartment Dickson was in a meeting when his phone rang. He saw Daisy's name and picked up immediately.

"Daisy?"

"Ayra’s gone! Someone took her! They said I sent them!"

He stood up, knocking over his chair.

"I’m on my way. Stay where you are. I’ll find her. I promise."

He ended the call and turned to Roan. "It happened. They took one of them."

Roan swore. "Let’s move."

Ayra sat quietly in the back of the van. She held her teddy bear tight and looked out the window.

"Where are we going?" she asked softly.

The man didn't answer.

She looked at him. "You’re not from Mommy’s office, are you?"

He smiled darkly. "No, I’m not."

Ayra bit her lip, hugging the bear tighter.

Daisy stood outside the school, police officers all around. She paced back and forth, tears falling.

"I shouldn’t have let them go," she whispered. "I should have kept them home."

Dickson arrived and pulled her into a hug. She didn’t fight it.

"We’ll get her back," he said.

She looked at him, eyes red. "What if she’s hurt? What if I never see her again?"

"We won’t let that happen. I swear it."

Roan came up holding a tablet. "We hacked into the school cameras. We got a face."

He showed them the footage—a tall man in a security jacket.

Dickson growled. "He was too smooth. This was planned."

Daisy stared at the screen. "That jacket... it had the logo from Rosa's old company."

Dickson clenched his fists. "Of course. Rosa."

Rosa POV

Rosa sat in her hotel room, watching her phone.

The man messaged: "Girl taken. Safe for now."

Rosa replied: "Good. Keep her hidden. I’ll give further orders soon."

She smiled to herself.

"Now let’s see how strong you are, Daisy."

Dickson, Roan, and Daisy were now gathered at Dickson's apartment.

The other kids were there too, playing quietly under supervision.

Daisy sat on the couch, shaking. She held one of Ayra's drawings.

"We were doing so well," she whispered. "Why does this always happen?"

Roan turned to her. "Because someone is scared of what you and your kids represent."

Daisy looked at him. "What do you mean?"

"You were the only true Luna. Your kids are all powerful. Even without a pack bond, they shine. Rosa knows that. Lycan knows it too."

Daisy blinked. "Lycan? You think he’s involved?"

Roan nodded. "He wanted a family. You rejected him. Now

Rosa has power over him. That’s dangerous."

It was later in the night,

Daisy received a message on her phone. No number. Just words:

You want the girl back? Come alone. No cops. No Dickson. Tomorrow. 7 PM. Or she disappears.

Daisy screamed.

Dickson grabbed the phone. "They want you to come alone."

Daisy nodded slowly. "I have to. It’s the only way."

"It’s a trap."

"Then let it be a trap. I just want my daughter back."

The next evening, Daisy wore a black hoodie and jeans. She carried no phone. Just a small photo of Ayra in her pocket.

Dickson followed her in a separate car, far behind.

Roan was on another street, ready in case things went wrong.

Daisy y arrived at an empty store house. She stepped inside slowly.

The man stood there with Ayra, who looked tired but safe.

"You came," he said.

"Let her go. Please."

He nodded. "Take her."

Daisy rushed forward, hugging her daughter tight.

"Mommy! I missed you!"

"I missed you too, baby. So much."

Suddenly, the man pulled out a knife.

"But you’re not leaving yet."

Daisy stepped back, shielding Ayra.

Then the door burst open.

Dickson tackled the man to the ground.

Roan followed, tying him up.

Ayra cried as Daisy held her tight.

"It’s okay. You’re safe now."

The children hugged Ayra, crying and laughing.

Daisy at beside Dickson.

"Thank you," she said.

He shook his head. "Thank you for being brave. I don’t deserve your trust. But I want to earn it."

Daisy looked at her children. "They deserve peace. We have to give it to them."

But for now you have to stay away from them, for their safety.

Dickson nodded. "Alright, I will."

Rosa POV

In a dark room far away, Rosaa watched the news on her screen.

"Daisy and daughter found safe. Kidnapper arrested."

Rosa threw her glass against the wall.

"This isn’t over."

"This is just the start of everything.

She picked up her phone and dialed.

"Lycan. We’re going to need a new plan."

Daisy's POV I lay on the bed as I watched Dickson sleep so quietly. I can not help but smile at how cute he looks while fast asleep. After lodging at a hotel, I had to move him back to my place around 5am in the morning because it felt awkward if I and Dickson slept together at a hotel. Dickson told me he needed more sleep and that we would talk once the day became bright. Clearly, he was still slightly tipsy from last night's drinking and needed more rest so I allowed him to sleep. The time is already 8am, courtesy to the clock hanging carelessly on the wall. I want to wake him up because I have a bad feeling that his new mate, Rosa might walk in on us but at the same time, I want Dickson to have enough rest.Even after everything he did for me last night, I still love Dickson and a part of me is holding out for him to return back to his senses.
