Rosa POV

Rosa sat in her large bedroom with dim lights and red curtains drawn shut. Her face was pale, but her eyes were filled with rage. She stared at the picture frame on the table—a photo of her and Dickson from years ago. He was smiling. She was pretending.

She picked up the frame and threw it across the room. It shattered against the wall, glass flying everywhere.

"He’s going back to her," Rosa whispered. "Back to Daisy. That stupid, weak girl."

She paced the room, muttering to herself. "I warned her. I told her Dickson was mine. But she doesn’t listen. She always wants what belongs to me."

Suddenly, she stopped and looked at herself in the mirror. Her reflection stared back. Eyes wide, wild. A cold smile formed on her lips.

"Fine. If she won’t go away on her own, I’ll make her disappear. And this time, I won’t fail."

Rosa met with Elder Tarman in a quiet, private garden behind the council house. He was old, strict, and always eager for a scandal.

"Elder," Rosa said sweetly, taking a seat across from him.

"You asked for this meeting. Speak quickly," he said, not looking up from the scroll he was reading.

That got his attention.

He looked up. "What is Daisy hiding?"

Rosa leaned in. "She kidnapped the Alpha’s children. The ones she had with him."

Tarman blinked. "The children? You have proof?"

"Soon," Rosa said. "I have someone working on it. Once I get the evidence, you’ll have what you need to punish her. She broke the laws. She took the Alpha’s heirs and disappeared."

Tarman tapped his finger on the table. "If this is true, Daisy could be charged with betrayal. That would be serious."

Rosa smiled. "Exactly. And it will destroy any chance Dickson has of being Alpha again."

Rosa POV

Rosa stood outside Daisy's house, dressed in black. She stayed in the dark, for a moment, while her eyes were totally scanning the windows.

She pulled out her phone and called someone.

"It’s time," she said. "Go in and find anything. Baby items. Photos. Documents. Bring it all to me."

A deep voice responded, "Yes, ma’am."

A man slipped into the house through the back door. He moved silently, like a spirit . Upstairs, the children slept peacefully. He took pictures of their rooms, grabbed a few items—a tiny sock, a drawing, and an old baby bottle. He was quick and gone within five minutes.

Rosa smiled when he handed her the bag.

"Perfect. This is all I need to destroy her."

Daisy's noticed something strange the next morning. A drawer in the nursery was open. She was sure she had closed it. One of the kid’s blankets was missing.

She walked through the house slowly, checking every window and door.

Everything seemed fine.

But she felt watched.

Her phone buzzed.

We need to talk. Urgent.

It was from Dr. Mirah.

Daisy left the kids with the nanny and drove to the clinic.

Mirah looked tense.

"Someone came to me asking for your medical records," she said. "They offered money. A lot."

Daisy's eyes widened. "Who?"

"They didn’t say a name. But it was a man. Tall. Strong build. He said he worked for the council."

Daisy shook her head. " Rosa must be behind this."

"That’s not all," Mirah added. "I got a message this morning. Anonymous. It said: 'Choose your side carefully.'"

Daisy felt a chill run down her spine. "They’re trying to scare you."

"It won’t work. But you need to be ready. They want those kids.

Later that day, Daisy picked the kids up from school herself. She didn’t trust anyone else anymore. As she was buckling them into the car, she noticed something odd.

A silver car, parked across the street. Tinted windows. No driver visible.

She stared at it for a moment.

Then it drove away.

Fast.

Daisy sat on the floor with all four kids. She looked into their innocent eyes and felt her heart twist.

"Listen, babies," she said softly. "Things might get strange soon. But Mommy loves you more than anything. And no one is taking you from me. Ever."

The kids nodded, not fully understanding.

But they felt the fear in her voice.

At the same time, Dickson was sitting with Roan, his old friend.

"They’re planning to hide lots of things from me.," Dickson said.

"Who?"

"Rosa. Maybe Lycan too. I saw a man watching Daisy’s house yesterday. Not one of mine. I checked."

Roan nodded. "We need to protect them."

"But she doesn’t trust me."

Roan smirked. "Then earn it back. The right way."

Rosa returned to the council house the next day with a folder in her hand. She slammed it on Elder Tarman’s desk.

"What’s this?" he asked.

"Proof. The Alpha’s children. Hidden by Daisy. Here are pictures of their rooms. Baby items. Drawings. Even her signature on medical forms."

Tarman flipped through the folder, eyes narrowing.

"This is serious."

"Then act," Rosa said. "Call a meeting. Let the whole council know."

Tarman nodded slowly. "We’ll handle it."

The next morning, Daisy woke up to banging on her door.

She rushed downstairs, opening the door to see a group of council guards.

"Daisy you are summoned for questioning," the leader said. "Pack your things. Come with us. Now."

Her heart stopped. "I have kids. What about them?"

"They stay here. A caretaker will be assigned."

"No! I’m not leaving them."

But the guards pushed past her. One woman picked up her youngest daughter, who began to cry.

"Stop! Don’t touch her!"

Daisy screamed. "Let me get my things. Please."

She went upstairs, grabbed her phone, and texted Dickson.

They came. Taking me. Save them.

Then they dragged her away.

Dickson burst into the council chamber an hour later.

"Where is she? Where is Daisy?"

Elder Tarman stood. "She has been summoned to answer for hiding your children."

"They were never hidden from me! I just didn’t look hard enough."

"That doesn’t change the law."

"What law? The one Rosa broke ten times and you all ignored?"

Gasps filled the room.

Dickson slammed his fist on the table. "If anything happens to her or those kids, I swear—"

"Enough!" Elder Maxwell entered the room. His voice silenced everyone.

"Let her speak," he said.

In the council hall, Daisy stood in the center, guards on either side. The elders sat in front of her like judges.

"You are accused of hiding the Alpha’s heirs and denying him his right as a father," Elder Tarman said.

Daisy’s voice was steady. "I did what I had to do to protect my children."

"They are not just your children. They belong to this pack."

"Then why did no one help me when I was thrown out? Why did no one care when I was alone, pregnant, and scared?"

Silence.

"You only care now because they carry power. Because they threaten your control."

Elder Maxwell leaned forward. "You are right. We failed you once. But now you must trust us to make it right."

Daisy looked around. Faces she didn’t trust. Voices she didn’t believe.

Then Dickson entered.

"Let her go," he said. "She is the mother of my children. And she never kept them from me. I was just too blind to see."

Tarman frowned. "That does not excuse—"

"Then punish me," Dickson said. "Not her. I left. I divorced her. I didn’t search hard enough. It’s my fault."

Elder Maxwell looked at both of them. Then nodded. "Let her go."

The guards stepped back.

Daisy fell to her knees in relief.

And immediately she was taken back home, to meet her kids.

Back at home, she hugged her kids tight. They cried, clung to her, begged her never to leave again.

She looked at Dickson.

"Thank you."

He nodded. "I told you I wouldn’t stop. Not this time."

But outside, in a parked car, Rosa watched through binoculars.

Her smile was gone.

"You win today, Daisy. But not forever."

She picked up her phone and sent a message to a new number.

Plan B. Take one of the kids. Make it hurt.

Dickson told me he needed more sleep and that we would talk once the day became bright. Clearly, he was still slightly tipsy from last night's drinking and needed more rest so I allowed him to sleep.
