Chapter 103 - The Alpha´s Respects

Stella POV

I woke up feeling light-headed; suddenly, I realized I was alone in bed. It was odd, since Romeo and I slept together last night. I didn't feel him waking, nor was he inside the bedroom. I took a deep breath, and then I felt it. I felt suffocated, sad, in pain, desperate, and in rage. “What the hell is going on?” I mumbled; those feelings were definitely not mine, so they must be Romeo's.

“Romeo… Where are you?” I called him through our mind link. The sadness that came through our bond was overwhelming, but I still waited for him to answer.

“Sweetheart, I am in my office…” he replied, and I could sense in his voice that something was terribly wrong. I decided to walk quickly towards the bathroom, trying to be as quick as possible, considering the massive pregnant belly that I was currently sporting.
