Chapter 108 - The Vampire Kingdom

As soon as I saw those creepy red eyes, I knew we were in the Vampire kingdom. Vampires and werewolves were natural enemies, or so the tales tell. I was defensive and protective of Stella, so I quickly pushed her behind me, and took a fighting stance.
The vampire in front of us hissed, and I was about to jump toward him, when Everly stood in front of me. “ Easy, Alpha… He is just the gatekeeper.“
I relaxed at her words, but didn't let Stella come out from behind me. “Miss Everly, long time no see.” The vampire's creepy voice greeted her.
“Hi, Silas. We are here to speak with your King. Lady Ashia requested an audience.” Everly asked and this Silas guy nodded, opening the gate.
