Chapter 102 - Darkness Strickes Back

Everything was back to normal; we finally returned to the Royal Pack and quickly got swamped in endless pack work. My pregnancy kept me from doing heavy lifting for the pack, and Romeo was adamant that I had as much rest and time for myself as possible. My belly was huge because I was carrying not one but two pups.
One week before our arrival, the elders informed us that the Alpha Summit would be held here and that it would be next month. I had a lot of preparations to make. The Alpha Summit was an event where all the leading Alphas under Romeo's command would gather together and discuss the new proposals, laws, treaties, and well-being plans for the future. Every Alpha would be accompanied by their Luna and their Beta couple. It was a massive event where all 50 packs were confirmed to attend.
