Alpha Jasper's POV

When Anna slumped, I was quick to reach out to her and scoop her into my arms. I was already expecting something of this sort to happen and so I wasn't surprised, rather I was mad at myself.

Mad at myself that I didn't try to prevent this, despite knowing that she needed to see the physician as soon as possible.
