Selena's POV

With each step I took, it gradually began to dawn on me the deep mess I was in. It was as if I was in a dream, a bad dream which I was desperate to wake up from.

Snapping my eyes shut, I took in a deep breath before opening them once more.

“Father,” I muttered, biting my lower lips as anger mixed with hatred welled up inside of me.

Yes! I understand he was mad at me; I was the one who made him lose his mate and also made him a laughing stock among the council of elders, but that doesn't mean he should push me off when he gets the slightest opportunity.
