Alpha Jasper's POV

The death of Cyrus wasn't even enough to raise a single hair on my body since I was expecting it though I didn't voice it out.

While Beta Jacob went about rambling on how it all happened, I kept on eating until Anna decided to leave the table.

I was fully aware of the hate she brewed towards him and so her reaction made me a bit surprised and then, she was a softie and not me. If I was in her place, I wouldn't have reacted to the news.

“What are you talking about?” She asked, swirling around in my direction. Her reddened eyes couldn't be missed.
