Chapter 129

Anna's POV

The bright light seeping from the window made me shield my eyes as I pulled myself up only to slide through the pillow the next minute.

Still drowsy, I nuzzled deep into the pillow, hoping to return back to sleep but a wave of cold breeze rushed into the room, making me pull the duvet over my head.

“My lady, it's morning already.” Alpha Jasper whispered into my ears but I didn't respond. We made love all through the night and now I wanted to get some rest.

“It's almost noon.” He whispered, tapping my shoulder gently.

“I know.” I muttered, rolling to the other side of the bed with the blanket still wrapped around my body.

When he didn't say anything after a while, I released my grip from the blanket and the next second, it was off my body, making me wince as the cold breeze seeped through me.

“Let's go have breakfast, I'm starving.”
