At Kings Land

No one notifies the deaf that a marketplace is on fire. He has eyes to see the chaos and legs to help himself. (African Proverb).

It was 7 PM and the Kings Land's Second in Command was in his house with his wife while listening to the broadcast. However, he could not sweep Gen. Awe's threat under the carpet.

“Two hours?” He asked himself in trepidation after watching him.

By estimation, the Head of State and Defense Minister were supposed to be back or contact him. When he did not hear from them, he decided to call them. When the first call timed out, he showed worries and called again.

His call was interrupted by a call from the Third in Command. Before he could pick it up, the Brigade Commander's call interrupted it as well and he had no choice but to answer.

“Hello, Brigadier. How may I …?"

The brigadier who was scared out of his wits due to the absence of ammunition in the country went straight to the point, “The Head of State is not back. What do we do?”
