The War 11

Samuel looked at Tim who was already eating for his opinion but his face was void of expression. He looked back at George and accepted, “That will be fine. At least I can raise my school fees before the end of the holidays.”

The two laughed at him and he was amazed.

“You don't even know how much you would be paid,” Tim stated and he was shy.

They had their breakfast quickly and afterward, George took Samuel to the basement and instructed him, “For your test, write out the names of the raw materials we have here. You are free to ask questions if you are in doubt.”

“Okay, Big Brother. I will call you when I'm confused,” he accepted but George who was walking briskly to join Tim disagreed with him.

“That is not what I mean. You can ask anyone around,” he said and joined Tim.

“I got it, Big Brother.”

He stood aside and watched them as they got into the car.

“See you later,” he said not knowing whether he was happy.

“Later. Take care,” they responded simultaneously.
