It was not until then that George noticed the injury on Annie's hand.

He rushed over, shouting angrily, "How did you end up like this? This isn’t right! Luna would never look as pathetic as you!"

Without another word, George grabbed Annie's arm, ready to call for someone to bandage her up.

Seeing that George’s attention was finally on her, Annie’s face lit up. The pain in her hand vanished in an instant. She pouted, pushing her wounded hand toward George.

"George, I was bitten! It hurts so much, but you don't even feel sorry for me…”

Before she could finish, George grabbed her arm so hard she thought he was about to break it. His eyes darted between the bite marks on her arm and his own.
