Chapter Forty

"Whatttt?" Nancy stared in shock at Rita with her heart rate brutally going up and down.

"Oh please, spare me that crap and stop behaving all innocent!" Lilian's voice came through.

"Sis," Rita tried to caution Lilian upon seeing how scared Nancy was.

"What? Let's call a spade a spade, Rita. What the hell is all of these? I can't believe I have to deal with all this bullshit right now!!!"

"Stop panicking, we still have to take the test to know the way forward."

"Come on, what fucking test? You know your onions well enough for me to start doubting you."

"Just calm down. And please stop walking up and down." Rita turned her attention to Nancy, still holding her hands, she could see the terrified look on Nancy's face and apart from that, she could see unshed tears in her eyes which made her give her hand a light squeeze.

"How.....www come?" She found herself whispering, finding it very hard to wrap her mind around what Rita told her.
