Chapter Forty Five

The moment the driver dropped Rita in front of the house, She bumped into her brother-in-law, Aaron, who looked like someone that just finished attending to a phone call.

"I didn't know you went out. Shouldn't you be getting ready for dinner?"

"Yeah, I stepped out to do something quickly." She said, approaching him.

"You have any idea where my sister is?"

"She was being cranky a while ago so I gave her some space."

"Where is she? The bedroom?"

"Yeah, she should be getting ready."

"Okay, I have to see her. I need to talk to you too." She turned to take her leave.

"Is anything the matter? You and Lilian were the happiest about today and you all are suddenly acting very strange."

"Everything is fine." She gave him a smile that didn't reach her eyes after which she made her way into the mansion in search of her elder sister.
