Chapter Forty One

Nancy nodded, not looking into Rita's eyes.

"We all have sex, Nancy. This isn't a topic you should be shy about.

"In my case It is. I really don't know how it happened. We used protection." She sniffled.

"Those things aren't 100% guaranteed. I would advise that we go for the test, then we know what to do."

Knowing she didn't have much of a choice, She nodded.

"How long will it take?"

"To get the results? Just a couple of minutes. We would be going to the family hospital and because you're from the Matins, I'm certain you'll be instantly attended to. Plus, I can also pull a few strings."

Never had Nancy been so scared in her life. With the way her heart was pounding and with the way so many thoughts were going through her head, She had no idea how she got into the car with Rita. They occupied the back seats while the driver drove.

They got to the hospital in no time and just as promised, Rita pulled a few strings. The doctor received them, he took her to the lab
