Kari's POV

I put the kids down for their afternoon nap. Stroking their heads as I watched over them, the sound of Matthew's wolf in my head still going around. I couldn't believe all that had happened. They were only five months old and were already so connected to their wolves. I wonder if my life would have been different if I had, had Hela from such a young age.

'I was with you from the day your mother died. you used to call me Keeyna, and you thought I was your imaginary friend.' Hela said in my head as memories came flooding back. 'If you knew otherwise, you wouldn't have coped.'

'I am so sorry Hela, it must have been so hard for you to deal with, not being able to properly come out and be who you are.'

'I was happy to be paired with such a strong young human.' She responded. I snorted at the word strong. 'I know you don't believe me, but you are, you are stronger in mind than anyone I have ever known, you just need to start believing it yourself.

'What do you think of Mars?' I a

Grant's POVWhilst Kari was off with Triton and Chloe, and the man I guessed was probably Chloe's father. I stood and spoke to the King as we watched more people start to arrive. I couldn't believe how many people had turned out to support my mate. I kept an eye on everyone, but Zeus didn't sense any discord or distrust from any of the members who were there as of yet."Triton was so angry when he found out that Chloe's father had deserted her in such a way," Alexander said, bringing my attention back to him."Kari told me her story. I always thought the mer-people and sirens were very family-oriented people. More so than us werewolves." I responded as I watched a group of fairies and pixies begin to prepare for us to leave. We had discussed this and we would move to the Palace once everyone was here. Our scouts who had been out let us know there was a larger sighting of rouges in the area of late, which meant we were close to our end game."They are, which is why Triton is so angry a

Kari's POVI looked on at the couple as more dragons landed and transformed into humans. After everything else I had seen, it still shocked me to see new species appear. Dragons were one I never expected. I turned to my Grandfather."If Santa Clause, the Tooth Fairy and the Easter Bunny turn up, I am going to start believing this is all a dream," I said to him. I heard the male dragon my gramps had called Mathias start to laugh."When Puck told me what she said about farting glitter, I thought he was pulling my leg." He chuckled. "I think we are going to get on spectacularly Luna Princess." I smiled at him and took the hand he held out. "I am Mathias Dragonclaw, King of the Dragons, and this is my Queen Lola.""It is a pleasure to meet you both. You will have to bear with me, this whole supernatural lark is very new to me. I was introduced to it not even a year ago, so I am still surprised by things.""Don't worry, Dinosaurs really are extinct." He winked at me and I grinned."I am sor

Kari's POVWe had all arrived at the Palace now, and a scout had informed us that the rouges were hiding in the forest. I wanted this over with so that I could get back to my pups and enjoy my life with them and my mate. I really hoped it would just be a case of taking them out and moving on, but I knew life was never that simple. I have twenty-seven years of experience of that fact."Are you OK my little moonbeam?" Grant asked as he came over to me."I hate not knowing where the pups are." I sighed. "I know it is for the best, but even so, it's hard.""I feel the same, and I am only their father. Your bond with them as their mother is so much thicker, so I can't imagine how hard this must be for you, but this will be over in no time and our pups will be back in our arms." He said, kissing my forehead. We watched the thousands of different supernatural beings preparing to take down the opposition. We knew there would be Alpha involved, and we had a fair idea of who they were,"Have we

Kari's POVI opened my eyes to a beautiful blue sky. The sun was beaming down on me, and I could feel the grass on my skin beneath me. Had the fight all been a dream?"Hello, my child." I heard from above me. I shifted my head so I could see, and I looked up to see Selene smiling down at me. There was sadness in her eyes. I felt a pang of dread in my chest."Am I dead?" I asked."No my child, you have Oleander in your system, you are out like a light at the moment, it was the perfect moment to bring you to me." She said as she sat on the grass next to me. I looked around and frowned."Where is Hela?" I asked. The last time I came to Selene's home, Hela was there."She is fighting the Oleander, it is hard for her. It is going to take her time." Selene said sadly. "I am so sorry for what you are going to endure over the next few days, and I wouldn't normally interfere like this, but they are going to mess with a bond that I have created and I must warn you.""Warn me? bond? What bond?"

Grant's POVThe moment we were outside, Cerberus took us back to where we fought and started to scratch at the ground as if he could sense something. Yasmin came forward and started to feel around whilst chanting some words in Latin. After a moment, her eyes flew open and she giddily kissed each of Cerberus's heads in excitement."What is it?" Alexander asked."There is a hidden portal," She exclaimed. "He must have used it to cross to his land, and that was how they got here.""Can you open it?" Carlton asked. He was as eager as I was to find Kari. I felt so empty now the bond was missing from us."Yes, it may take me a little while, and I will need to get Wendy to help, and having Henriette and Paula here would be good as well. Paula is a Wiccan as well as a wolf." I said, Alexander's eyes glazed over and in about five minutes Wendy, Henriette and Paula arrived with us."What is it?" Henriette asked."We need to uncover a hidden portal which is here," Yasmin said. Paul stepped forwa

Kari's POv.There was darkness all around me, in this darkness there was an annoying continuous beeping sound. I groaned as my whole body ached. Suddenly, the smell of strawberries and watermelon filled my nose, calming me. I sighed."Kari?" Came his voice. I felt the tingles as he ran a hand over my head. I groaned again and turned my head into his hand. I heard a door open and footsteps enter the room."I thought you said she was awake." I heard Alexander's voice."She is more responsive and she groaned.""Too loud," I muttered, and I felt three sets of eyes on me. I pried my eyes open and hissed at the light, squeezing my eyes shut again. I heard footsteps again and the lights were switched off, leaving only a lamp in the corner on. I opened my eyes and blinked again, everything was a little blurry."It's good to see you awake Luna Princess." Came a familiar voice from my left. I turned my head to see Doctor Wainwright looking at the monitors beside my bed. "How are you feeling?""

Kari's POVI had the feeling of a weight on my chest and the feeling of someone watching me. There was light chatter and gurgling in the room. I opened my eyes to see a pair of big blue eyes staring back at me. I scented the smell of baby. I smiled when a voice came over to me."Told you we would see you again mumma." I smiled at Matthew, who was so close our noses were nearly touching, his eyes swirling between blue and purple."Mumma's little one," I said groggily. I looked around to see Grant sitting with the girls on his lap, Ingrid had Alexander, Olivia was standing with Julian and Merida had Joshua, who was sucking his thumb and looking at my breast. I smiled at them all. Grant handed the girls over and came over to help me into a sitting position. I hugged Matthew to me."Can I have Joshua before he burns a hole through my boob," I said and everyone chuckled. Merida swapped children with me and I let Joshua latch on, he latched quickly and sucked like his life depended on it."

Grant's POVI sat next to her whilst she slept. The pups were asleep in their playpen that had been set up in Kari's hospital room. The three boys huddled together, and I noticed the two girls were huddled in a separate pup pile with Joshua. Maybe we should start putting him in the cot with the girls. Even though they were all in two separate piles, the piles were pretty much next to each other. I was contented with my little family, and once she was well enough, I would be taking her away for a long weekend, just the two of us, so I could sink my teeth back into the skin on her neck, and this time my mark would stay right where it belonged.'Our mark.' Zeus grumbled and I smiled at my wolf who was watching out mate through my eyes. She had been right on the mark when she said she felt empty when the bond had been removed and I had felt the same. 'I will mark and mate Hela so hard.' Zeus snickered.'Just remember what Kari said, I like my Dick where it is.' I told him.'Want more pups

  • The Nordic Wolves - The Missing Princess   Epilogue Two - The Pups fifth Birthday

Kari's POvThe pups were all in bed, although it had taken us ages to get them to sleep, as they were all excited about the fact it was their birthday tomorrow and all their friends and our families would be here to celebrate with them. When they had finally gone to sleep, we left them under the care of Olga, their Nanny, and went down to the ballroom which had been transformed. The room had been split into six, with each of their favourite things decorating the area. Matthew was a fan of all things stars and space, so the wall was covered in glow-in-the-dark stars, and hanging from the ceiling were the planets, the sun and the moon surrounded by strings of lights with stars hanging from them. Julian loved the zoo, so his area had been decorated like a safari where there were cuddly toys of wild animals all over the area and a little petting zoo in the corner where in the morning there would be a number of different pets for the children to hold. We also had someone from the zoo was jo

Kari's POVTwo Years LaterToday was the day I had fought with my Grandfather over this, telling him I was nowhere near ready to take over from him, but he was adamant. He was standing down and I would be taking over. To think, four years ago I had no idea that a supernatural world existed. Now I was about to become the Queen of the Werewolf Kingdom.I stared at the ceiling as I lay in my bed, my husband and mate snoring peacefully beside me, his arm lay across my stomach. I heard him snort and felt him lift his head."Little moon?" He asked sleepily. I turned my head and smiled at him. He yawned and looked at his watch. "Have you slept at all?""No," I sighed."You are going to make one hell of a Queen, my love." He said, not losing eye contact with me. I let out a long breath. "You have a good team behind you."We had decided to take on our own teams, although we would all work together. He would keep Reuben and Magnus and the King's Beta's and Claire and Chloe would be known as the

Grant's POVI held out a hand for Kari to take so I could help her out of the carriage. We had arrived back outside of the palace and were about to return to our guests for our reception. We had spent half an hour touring the town, thousands of wolves had come out to celebrate our wedding and see us as we passed through. I couldn't believe the support we had. I also couldn't believe how my life had turned out. I was now the Alpha of a region of the werewolf Kingdom, and I was the next King. I had never been power hungry like most Alpha's, much to my father's disappointment. I loved my pack and the idea of being the Alpha was close to my heart and I had always wanted to do my best job and protect my pack and be the Alpha they needed. I never in my wildest dreams expected I would one day be running the whole werewolf kingdom. The thing I least expected was that this amazing, beautiful woman would be my mate. The Moon Goddess had sent me a literal Goddess and I owed her my life.As she t

Kari's POV I had a sudden feeling that I was being watched. Opening my eyes, my eyes locked instantly with a pair of bright blue ones, a giggle escaped the owner of those eyes. "Good morning Heather." I smiled at the little munchkin. "Heather." Came Ingrid's voice. "Aunty Kari needs her sleep." "It's OK Ingrid, I'm awake." I chuckled, pulling the little girl into a tight hug, and making her giggle. I tickled her to extract her hysterical laughter. Ingrid smiled at me. "Are you all ready for today?" Ingrid asked as she sat on the bed. "Huh?" I asked, my sleep-addled brain not catching up. Kari snickered in my head. "You're getting married." I looked at her a moment before what she said sunk in. "Oh sugar," I muttered. "How did I forget that? What time is it?" "It's six thirty." Ingrid chuckled. "You have plenty of time. I was going to let you sleep for a few more hours, but apparently, my daughter had other ideas." "It was a lovely way to be woken up. I have missed my little m

Three months Later.Kari's POVI sat on the rocking chair in the nursery feeding our twin daughters, Astra Eliza and Carita Merida. Claire and Chloe were sitting in the other two with their own pups. Claire and Reuben had their little heir, Maximus. He was four weeks older than my twins and Chloe and Magnus had a little girl called Eevi. I was so glad we had all had our pups at the same time, they would be able to grow up together. Joshua was sitting at my feet whilst my other five pups ran around causing havoc, their nannies trying to settle them. Joshua was still my little shadow, but I loved how attached he was to me. He flipped through the book he had in his hands, but I didn't have the heart to tell my youngest boy that it was upside down."Last day before the wedding," Chloe spoke up. I looked from where my girls were greedily attached to a breast each to see Chloe burping Eevi."I'd say it was your last day of being a free woman, but that happened the day he first marked you."

Grant's POV I walked with my mate outside to where the competition was being held on the training grounds. We were directed into a tent where her grandparents stood. Queen Merida smiled as we entered and came over to us. There was an Omega behind her wearing the Royal Colours and holding a cushion with a silver Tiara with emeralds dotted over it. I looked at my Princess and chuckled. Her Grandmother knew her very well. 'What are you chuckling at?' Kari asked over mindlink. 'You forgot something...Again.' She looked at me and frowned as Merida arrived next to us. "She is becoming quite predictable, I see Queen Merida." I said, nodding to the Tiara. Merida grinned. "Oh Damn it." Kari muttered beside me. "I am so not used to wearing one. Merida laughed as she placed the Tiara on her granddaughter's head. "You will get used to it in time, my child, it is all still quite new to you." "Your Grandmother was just the same as you when I found her." The King said, kissing his mate on the

Remember, you can't lie to me and Grant, our wolves can pick up on a lie. Everything you told us is the truth. We really are proud of you." I told her, handing her a deep green dress that had ruffled sleeves and a squared top to it. "Here, try this on." She took the dress. "It is stunning." She said, taking it into the bathroom to try on. 'Mary-beth?' I mind-linked the head Omega for the Palace. 'Luna Princess, is everything OK?' She asked nervously.
