Chapter Seventy Four - Guests

Kari's POV

I had the feeling of a weight on my chest and the feeling of someone watching me. There was light chatter and gurgling in the room. I opened my eyes to see a pair of big blue eyes staring back at me. I scented the smell of baby. I smiled when a voice came over to me.

"Told you we would see you again mumma." I smiled at Matthew, who was so close our noses were nearly touching, his eyes swirling between blue and purple.

"Mumma's little one," I said groggily. I looked around to see Grant sitting with the girls on his lap, Ingrid had Alexander, Olivia was standing with Julian and Merida had Joshua, who was sucking his thumb and looking at my breast. I smiled at them all. Grant handed the girls over and came over to help me into a sitting position. I hugged Matthew to me.

"Can I have Joshua before he burns a hole through my boob," I said and everyone chuckled. Merida swapped children with me and I let Joshua latch on, he latched quickly and sucked like his life depended on it.
