Chapter Seventy Three - Reunited

Kari's POv.

There was darkness all around me, in this darkness there was an annoying continuous beeping sound. I groaned as my whole body ached. Suddenly, the smell of strawberries and watermelon filled my nose, calming me. I sighed.

"Kari?" Came his voice. I felt the tingles as he ran a hand over my head. I groaned again and turned my head into his hand. I heard a door open and footsteps enter the room.

"I thought you said she was awake." I heard Alexander's voice.

"She is more responsive and she groaned."

"Too loud," I muttered, and I felt three sets of eyes on me. I pried my eyes open and hissed at the light, squeezing my eyes shut again. I heard footsteps again and the lights were switched off, leaving only a lamp in the corner on. I opened my eyes and blinked again, everything was a little blurry.

"It's good to see you awake Luna Princess." Came a familiar voice from my left. I turned my head to see Doctor Wainwright looking at the monitors beside my bed. "How are you feeling?"
