Chapter Five

Queen Emily, mother of Jayden and Pearl rushed to the king's apartment, she met Tristan and a guard outside and they both bowed to greet her like a queen she is.

"I would like to have a chat with his majesty, can I go in?" She asked

"His majesty told me he doesn't wanna see anybody, but give me a few seconds to inform him about your presence here" Tristan replied before he went inside. He came back after some minutes and ushered her to go inside.

Queen Emily went inside to see her son sitting down as if nothing happened

" Greetings, your highness. Can I take a seat?" She asked calmly

"Hun" he hummed in reply 

"I'm here to talk about Pearl, forgive my manners but I heard you had her locked up immediately she entered the palace" she asked 

"And you didn't ask what he did? He said

"Heard from the maid that she did nothing" she said while Jayden banged the table angrily and Queen Emily flinched in fear. 

"I, King Jayden punished for no reason?" He roared which made Queen Emily regretted coming to meet him. His voice doubled immediately and tension filled the room. It's noticeable that Anthony wanted to take over but Jayden was trying to control it.

King Jayden hated lies but Anthony, his wolf hated it more.

"I-i- I'm sorry your majesty,that was what I was told and I rushed here without making Investigation about it" Queen Emily stammered 

Jayden tried so hard to control the situation, immediately he managed to control himself, the room was disorganized already

That was when he noticed his anger turned everything upside down.

"Mother, Pearl dared me and she will be punished greatly for it" He managed to said calmly, though one can still feel some anger from his voice

"I warned her against indecent driving and causing trouble. I'm staying inside the palace doesn't mean i don't know what's going on out there, especially with Pearl. She is a princess and she should be a role model for other maidens in this pack" he added

"I'm sorry your majesty, Pearly is still a teenager and I'll like you to handle her to me for proper punishment" the queen pleaded 

"No mother, I'll punished her like a teenager as you said" he said and the queen bowed slightly before leaving the room

" I know of a great punishment that she will remember forever" he smirked

Ari drove home after having lots of fun with Hazel. She dropped Hazel off on her way home.

Immediately she opened the door, she met her dad fuming in anger and her nanny by his side trying to control him.

"I'm back" she announced with her best calming voice

"What the hell happened today?" Her father yelled

"Happened? Did something happen? Where and when? She pretended

"What happened on your date with Andy?" Her father asked again

" Nothing happened,just normal dating things" she replied but didn't know when a thundering slap landed on her left cheek.

"Normal? Normal Arianna? You disgrace me today, you disgrace this family. Did I not try enough? I gave you everything you needed and you still choose to embarrass me? Where did I go wrong? Answer me Ariana Scott? Why would you and that stupid friend of yours did that to Andy's car? He yelled and was panting heavily.

Ari placed her hand on her cheek, it was unexpected and unbelievable as her father has never done that before. 

Her left cheek has turned to red, she wanted to talk but found no word to uttered at that moment.

"D-d-da-dad, you slapped me? She managed to asked after some seconds of silence

"Yes! And I would not cease to do that if you don't realize you are matured enough to understand things better" her father replied.

She stormed out of the house angrily, her nanny tried to stop her but her effort proved abortive.

" Ari! Ari! Arianna" nanny Bethel called continuously but she refused to answer and drive out again in annoyance

"I told you matching her with Andy isn't the best solution. Now see what you have caused" nanny said worriedly

"If she doesn't like Andy, disgracing the family isn't the right thing to do!" He answered

"You shouldnt have slapped her Kingsley, you of all people know that" nanny Bethel said

"She will come around with time, trust me" Kingsley replied

"I just hope she will be fine. Oh my poor girl" nanny said while place her hands on her heart 

The Palace

" Princess Pearl will henceforth not be treated as a princess in this palace but as a maid and not just a maid, but kitchen's maid till a week to the annual ceremony. If she doesn't comply with the kitchen's rules and regulations within this short period of time, she will be greatly punished" Tristan read from a note as he was ordered by King Jayden infronts of all Palace guards and maids

"No! His majesty can not do this to me! I'm his only sister frying crying out loud!" Pearl yelled

"Mother please help me, I promise to always listen to you guys henceforth, i promise to be a good girl" she started pleading and was trying hard to prevent tears from coming but it was already too late as the tests wouldn't stopped coming out

"I'm sorry honey, I tried to help you but I almost regret it. I think you would learn to be a good ambassador of the royal family henceforth" her mum said and left the scene

"No!!!!" She screamed and fire started coming out of her mouth

The fire consumed two guards immediately and they groaned in pain

Amy took over as she was annoyed to be humiliated among those maids.

She groaned in pain for a few minutes before shifting completely into her wolf form.

She turned Eighteen a year before and she only shifted twice since then, that's what made her feel some pains before shifting.

She stormed angrily out of the palace to only where God's known.

"Your majesty, princess Pearl has stormed out of the palace angrily and she burnt two guards before she left" Tristan asked

"Take them to the infirmary for treatment" he replied

"What should we do about the princess?" Tristan asked

"Let her be" he said

"Should we have some guards to trail her?" Tristan asked again

"No need to do that" he replied him

Tristan bowed before leaving the king's apartment

It's already evening, Ari was busy drinking in a noisy club in the pack. She was drunk already but still managed to stay gallant.

"Dad slapped me for the first time,did I do something bad?" She murmured to herself

"Must I get married? Why can't he just let me be?" She continued

"Should I run away? Where would I go if I run away? I can't even go back to that house. Ari, you are finally stranded" she rough her hair slightly and signed deeply

"Are you okay, miss?" The bar attendant asked but a coldly glare from her answer the question and she walked away d

Ari took her bag and left the club. She entered her car and drove out of the club.

"I'll go Hazel house first and know what to do after that" she told herself

Somewhere in Star pack

"Oh no! It shouldn't be, I must try as much as possible to do this by myself without using any of my power" King Jayden said as he was trying to balance this driving on road"

Different car was honking at him but he didn't give any damn to it

All of the sudden, the drunken Ari was driving while King Jayden's car also took the wrong direction and Ari's car collided . Jayden gasped slightly after seeing what he caused while Ari coughed for some times where she was

"I told you it's was a bad idea to drive out without Tristan but you didn't listen, now see what you have caused' Anthony mutterer from his head

"I can handle it, it's nothing?" He replied Anthony

"Hey! Are you blind? Were you guys sent to me today to frustrate my life? What's wrong with all these star pack demons from goodness sake?" She was yelling but Jayden didn't reply.

He closed his eyes for time travelling but it didn't work

"What's happening?" Anthony

"I don't know, I've no idea" he replied

He stretched his hands to stop her moving from her car, but that didn't work too

Ari was moving closer to him but he was sniffing as he was perceiving some scent but couldn't detect it.

He needed to open the door and check what was going on but couldn't because of his mask.

As Ari was getting closer, the scent was increasing and Anthony started jubiliating.

"It's our mate" Anthony said

"Mate?" Jayden asked

"Yes mate! At last, waiting period is over" Anthony said

Jayden was astonished and couldn't say anything when the door opened and a hand grabbed his shirt to drag him out.

"You motherfuck! Ari said as she landed a big slap on his face"
