Rodion
___
I fell back on the hard ground and set myself into a defensive stance. There was pain on my jawline which was from the punch I received. There was another pain on my lower abdomen which I suspect was not from the fight. It was probably the stupid wound that refused to heal.
"I was never your enemy! I am still not!" The damn creature growled while wiping the blood oozing off his lower lip where I had punched.
I shook my head, outrage recharging in me again. With renewed energy, I got up and launched myself at him. I whacked his ribs so hard that he grunted laboriously.
"You are wrong," I shoved him against the wall and pushed my forearm across his throat, choking him so hard that he gripped my hand desiring to yank me off. "I still consider you as an enemy!"
"Fuc-k," He wailed. Blood ran down his chin. "Fine," His voice was low and his face was turning red due to the pressure I applied on him. "...
Rodion____“I accepted the job.” I declared and Alessia froze from my confession. I loved the face she gave me."You what?" Her eyes met mine. "You'll kill me?""Don't be silly." I chuckled. "They'll pay me to kill them.""What?"I hauled her and carried her to our bathroom. I helped her take off the red wig and some other fake disguises she used. I then stripped the dress off her skin. Once she was naked, I took off my clothes and we both stepped into the bathtub. I had prepared some warm water for her.She was seated between my legs with her head resting on my chest. My hands were wrapped around her chest where her erect nipples were poking my skin."Carina hates me." She broke the silence between us. The pang in her voice was an indication that Carina played a big role to make her take the action of murdering the prime minister. "Her words still hurt me.""She is just lost in pain. G
Alessia____I sat down on a petal plush pink chair in the dressing room with a towel wrapped around me. I had another towel covering my wet hair.I swiveled the chair to face a mirror so I could take a good view of myself. The moment my eyes met my reflection, I gasped. My hand traveled to my neck and I covered myself.A shade of redness welled up on my cheeks. That was followed by a shy smile which caught me averting my gaze from the mirror. I settled my eyes on the slab in front of me where I had all sorts of make-up, I needed something to conceal the visible marks on my skin. The door behind me squeaked open. It was Rodion who I had left in the washroom as he shaved his mustache. A towel was wrapped around his lower waist. We had taken a warm morning shower together. His eyes were on my hands which were holding a concealer palette cream. And my eyes were on his messy wet hair that fell messily on his hea
Alessia___The worst part of life is to see someone get driven down the grave. It hits you that you'll never see them again, talk to them, or even watch them from a far. It ached in so many ways. A pain in the depths of heart, a pain that one couldn't avoid.Matteo was there. He was resting in a wooden brown casket alone. I wondered what one could do to have him back, just for a second and have a conversation. Maybe to have a good goodbyes, and to tell them they mattered in life. Just that, I needed just a second with him again. He taught me to love and respect what I do. He also taught me to always pay attention to my surroundings. I realized he was teaching me safety and priorities. He was not a cold person, rather he was someone who would look serious when needed and of course, when he joked or jotted a moment, he would be someone else.He was trustworthy. A fighter. A dedicated man and mostly, he was sp
Alessia_____As I lifted my phone to call Rodion, some heavy footsteps caught me. I shot my gaze in the direction and my eyes fell on Rodion. He was walking to me. I ignored how people were gaping at him. To be sincere, he looked outstanding, clad in a white-fitting tee and a pair of dark jeans. I could devour him more and more and sometimes he made me forget that he was mine.It was how ladies looked at him. But his eyes were on me. Though there was no smile, and his hair was not how I styled it before we left home. He had messed with it, and that was proven by how he roughly ran his fingers through it when he got to me.I was now concerned, not scared."Hey." I made the step between us and met him. He placed his hands on my shoulders and rubbed me gently."I will find him." He uttered with a heavy breath escaping his parted lips.My brows pulled together in confusion.
Alessia____Forgiveness is an act that only comes from the heart. Sometimes it's hard to forgive. But what I know is that it's good to release the anger buried in our hearts, it makes our hearts flourish again.I learned the hard way. After spending years of loneliness and pain, where I used to think I was the source of the problem in our house, I finally learned what the issue was, and I decided to forgive my parents. That was because they also had a tough story behind the real situation.I understood Rodion. His loving brother betrayed him in great ways that he couldn't let go, but again, Dmitri was his brother.I knew I was taking things too far by making secret arrangements for him to meet his family, but I wanted to try.He fought his desires and quit smoking. If he could also find it in his heart and forgive Dmitri and his grandmother, I would leave for London as a happy woman. But I was not going to force him.
Alessia_____We all ate in silence until I saw Rodion push something on my plate. I lowered my face to my meal, there was a piece of stuffed flank steak roll. You'll always find vegetables in Rodion's meal, so the roll had some spinach in it.I gazed at him. His jaws were twitching with the movement of his chewing activity. He stuffed his mouth with a fork full of veggies and then offered me his attention. He never uttered a word but the look he gave me made me smile. I loved him so much that sometimes I forgot the world existed. I would watch him all day because I could not get enough of him.I picked the roll and devoured it. The taste of it in my mouth and how soft it felt made me moan silently. I needed more. I spotted we had a plate of them but they were positioned far from me. I gazed at Rodion's plate and he had a few. I went for his own and he never cared about it, rather he pushed his plate closer so we could share.
Alessia______"I can't do that." I gave her an apologetic smile which got hidden by the glass of wine I held on my lips for a sip. Perhaps the drink could wash away the distress that Rodion's grandma was trying to put me into.Telling me her secret and requesting me to keep it from Rodion was like giving me tips on how to break up with him.Trust is the key to a healthy relationship, they were not idiots when they said that.I observed as she got all bothered. She was busy putting back the picture in her expensive yellow handbag that matched the color of her dress. She was amazing, in fact, she made it easier for us to share but she was compelling me to do something that I couldn't.The last time I saw Rodion break down was when he learned that his brother was his enemy. Hiding that they had a brother out there was to make him have trust issues."Tell them." I rested the glass on the table. "If you won't, I will.""If I meet M
Alessia_______I am persistent, but people would call me stubborn.I needed Carina back, so I never rested in texting her every minute. Even though I used to get zero replies from her, I never gave up. And it paid off."I know I probably moved on so quickly, but that did not mean I never adored Matteo. He was a close person to me, to us." I explained wholeheartedly. It was my first time having trouble speaking to my bestie. She always felt closer than my parents, I shared a lot more with her than I would to my mother. But seated in front of her in the restaurant we were in, it felt like I was seated with a stranger."Let's not talk about it." Her eyes darted around in an attempt to avoid looking at me. She kept sipping her tea every second and the way her fingers played on the cup, she was nervous like I was."I miss
