The worst part of life is to see someone get driven down the grave. It hits you that you'll never see them again, talk to them, or even watch them from a far. It ached in so many ways. A pain in the depths of heart, a pain that one couldn't avoid.

Matteo was there. He was resting in a wooden brown casket alone. I wondered what one could do to have him back, just for a second and have a conversation. Maybe to have a good goodbyes, and to tell them they mattered in life. Just that, I needed just a second with him again.

He taught me to love and respect what I do. He also taught me to always pay attention to my surroundings. I realized he was teaching me safety and priorities.
