I silently watched as Rodion wrapped a scarf around my neck. He towered me, with every part of him attending to me. He loved to offer all his attention to me and forget he had an empire to think of. Even his blood and every sense were acquainted to submit to me.

"Where are we going?" I asked when he picked a trench coat from the closet. He moved behind me and helped me wear it. It was a black one, similar to the one he was wearing.
