The booming voice of a man’s snap and a girl's small cry could be heard from behind the wooden door. Other sounds such as the crushing of a belt being smashed against someone's body and her weak screams could also be heard from outside the room.

Alpha Ken quickly checked Lilly's breath and she didn't feel anything. Panicking, he stood up and shifted Lilly to the middle of the bed.

“Call that witch over here quickly!!!” Alpha Ken roared in his mindlinks to the rest of the pack.

He immediately approached Lilly and tried to provide first aid by pressing her chest with both palms resting on each other and pumped her chest.

Not long after, a female witch came into the room. She’s tall and looks beautiful with her all-white hair. Even though she still looks young, she is way much older than Alpha Ken.

"Alpha." She nodded graciously greeting Ken who was still helping Lilly.

"What the hell are you doing? Quick!!" Ken snapped at the witch which was obvious that she was tired of this behavior of this alpha.

Yes. This has happened many times. She and the rest of the rogue pack members already know what will happen if Alpha Ken summons her suddenly into his room.

It must have been because this poor slave girl was dying.

The witch waited and she frowned when there was no reaction from Lilly. Usually, it works. As soon as she rubbed this enchanted dark red leaf over Lilly's face, this poor girl, who was known here for her beauty, must have woken up immediately. Or at least breathe.

This time, nothing happened.

“What? Why is she still unconscious?” Alpha Ken sounded more panicked. He patted Lilly's already bruised cheek to wake her up.

“Lilly! Wake up! Shit! Mira do something!” He looked very agitated and worried.

Mira, the witch, stared at Alpha Ken like he was an unreasonable living being. The beautiful woman shook her head and then continued to chant. She rubbed the dark red leaf across Lilly's face three times. Only then did this pale girl look like she was already breathing?

"She's alive, Alpha," Mira said to him.

"I know, I saw it." Ken sounded annoyed but already more relieved. He did not move his eyes from Lilly.

"Then, if I'm no longer needed, I'll leave. Excuse me." She lowered her head and headed for the door. But, before she got out. Mira stopped in her way and spoke without turning her head.

“If this happens again, I'm not sure if she'll still be alive. Next time just let her die, Alpha. You have tortured her so much. We don't even know what this girl did to you."

With that the witch left from there.

Meanwhile, Alpha Ken, who heard the witch's words clearly, was silent as he looked at Lilly who was still lying on his bed. The girl was already breathing, but she still looked very weak and helpless. Her face was still pale and Alpha Ken was sure this fragile girl wouldn't wake up any time soon.

The man looked at Lilly's face and traced the wounds on her body one by one. Many of the wounds were self-inflicted, and some were caused by the hard work that had to be done every day as a slave.

Ken brought his face closer to Lilly's and kissed her gently on the forehead.
