Chapter 8

"Doctor! DOCTOR! ALYSA!!” Finn shouted loudly, the ground and trees shook because of his roaring. The members of Blue Moon pack stopped their activities to see what was going on with their Alphas. They stood still with curious eyes, didn’t dare to approach their deadly furious leaders that running from the forest right now. The only thing they knew was Alpha Luca holding a small girl that seemed to be unconscious in his arms.

The three of them had reached the center of the pack housing, transformed into human forms, and headed straight for the Blue Moon pack's medical center. The large two-storey building that serves as the general hospital for Blue Moon residents looks pretty quiet as usual. Because it's rare that people get sick or injured here.

Luca who was holding his mate in his arms immediately ran towards the building. There, Alysa, was already running from inside the building to approach them with a panicked face. Finn had told her from mind link.

“Alphas!” She greeted them with a hasty bow and with quick respond, she showed them the way to the check up room. The three of them didn’t even care about their being naked after transform into their human form. It’s common in Lycan’s daily life, no one saw it strange. And they care more about this weak little girl who they call mate.

After they got into one of the room, Luca immediately put the fragile girl on the bed.

“She… She is…” Alysa stammered and gulped when she saw the limp and pale girl. She had already examined the girl. She didn't feel a pulse on her, not breathing and Alysa could barely hear her heartbeat.

“No. Don't you dare say that! She is alive! I can… Ugh!” Luca growled which was followed by his two brothers. They felt a sharp pain in their chest. The three simultaneously held and squeezed their chests because of the excruciating pain. It was as if someone had thrust a scorching sword through their heart.

Dean's eyes widened as he realized something.

“No…” No way. They lost their mate.

“No. No… We just meet you baby girl…” Finn stroked the girl's cheek gently, afraid that he would add more injure to her bruised face.

“Please… don't leave us…” Luca scooped over her body back into his arms.

They have been waiting for their mate for a long time. Looking for her all over the world. Now when they were excited because they found their other half, she’s gone

The Moon Goddesses are so unfair. That was what the triplets were thinking. Draco, Lorcan, and Oscar howled in anguish at this. But instantly. The three of them fell silent when Alysa shouted something at them.

“Alpha! The witch!! She can help her…”

Luca immediately turned to her. His blue pupils flashed with red  indicated that he and Lorcan were in an equally dominant state. Both of them mourn the fate of their other half.

“She is… actually here…” Alysa said slowly while looking at them when she had the attention of the three alphas.

Slowly. Alysa shifted her body to the side and revealed a woman with a tall and slim body walking towards them.

“Alphas…” She lowered his head. “Allow me to help…” Her shooting voice could calm anyone's heart. But not with the three Alphas. Especially Declan. He didn't want any stranger to approach his girl.

"You can help?" Luca finally responded with his cold tone. Luca is an Alpha who doesn't really get too close to his own pack member, including this witch.

“Yes. Of course. Before it's too late…” the witch said making the three of them realize that they were too sad and mourn because they feeling lost. Their mate can still be saved and live together with them.

Luca put his girl's body back on the bed and let the witch approach her.

The witch then placed her hand on her forehead and took a deep breath before closing her eyes. Her head tilted up a little bit like she was looking at far way.

“She's still there…” She said without opening her eyes as if he was seeing something no one else could.

The three Alphas stared at each other. Then looked alternately at the witch and their girl.

“Yes… she is still there! I need your blood!” Instantly the witch opened her eyes.

"Our Blood?" Finn responded but he quickly held out his hand followed by his other two brothers. They are willing to do anything for their mate. She was the other half of their soul that the Moon Goddesses had destined for them. If she’s gone, then they will also lose their will for life.

“Yes. She is your mate. The way to call her back and prevent her from walking too far too the afterlife is your blood. You guys want her back, didn't you?” The witch said it quickly.

"Of course!" The three of them answered in unison.

"Give her a sip of your blood. The three of you"

With that one by one, Declan, Luca, and Finn slashed their hands with their sharp Lycan fingernails and opened Lilly's mouth to let the thick red liquid enter her mouth and throat.

While the room filled with panic, worried and anxiety by the three Alpha Lycans. Lilly is enjoying the green view of a vast meadow full of beautiful flowers scattered above it.

She breathed in the fresh air. A light breeze blew against her skin, making her feel cool and chilly. But the bright, warm sun doesn't make it cold at all. The sun is really bright up there but it’s not hurting her skin at all. She sat on the big root of a very shady tree to enjoy this beautiful view.

Lilly didn't know how she got to this place. She woke up and the pain she normally felt on her body was gone. She also felt the warm and comfortable here.

The view is beautiful and very comfortable. She closed her eyes and once again breathed in the fresh air. Lilly smiled as she smelled something very fragrant. Sometimes, it smells like jasmine, or roses, or tuberose. Lilly really likes flowers. So, she was very happy when he could smell the flowers.

"Lilly?"

She shot opened her eyes when she heard someone call her name.

There was someone else here, she thought she was alone before. Lilly saw a woman sitting in meadow among the beautiful flowers under the warm sun. But unfortunately, Lilly couldn't see her face from where she was sitting. It’s too bright there.

That woman clearly had long, beautiful hair, because she was sitting with her back facing Lilly, only her head was slightly turned towards her. Even though Lilly couldn't see her face, she somehow believed that this woman had a pretty face.

"What are you doing here?" The mysterious woman asked her again.

Lilly frowned. Because she herself did not know the answer. What is she doing here? Has she stepped into foreign territory? Does this place belong to this woman?

"I do not know either. Sorry if I disturbed your place…”

Lilly was surprised to hear her own voice. She felt that she could speak easily, she didn’t feel pain when she let out her voice, Before this she didn't talk much which made his voice hoarse. However, now she spoke fluently and clearly.

"No, love. You don't bother me at all. I'm so glad you're here. However, it is not the time for you to be here right now. Go back…” She told her. Somehow, Lilly knew she was smiling at her.

"Where to?…." Lilly wanted to ask. But then, she gasped as strings of memories entered her head.

Lilly held her chest which was starting to hurt. Her body immediately became weak and she started to feel pain all over her body.

“No. I don't want to go back. Please…” Lilly cried. She attempted to walk in a direction where the warm sunlight was shining on the field. But there was something invisible preventing her feet from going any further.

"I am sorry, dear. It is not time yet. Your journey is still long. Remember your promise to keep fighting. You will be fine now.” The woman sounded sad but she kept refusing Lilly to stay in this beautiful place.

“No! I want to stay here! I don't want to live there anymore. They are so evil and hurt me constantly. I am tired. Please allow me to stay here." Lilly fell to the ground. The green meadow that was lit by the warm sun was slowly getting farther and farther away from her sight. Lilly sobbed and tried to stand up, but her body seemed to have no more strength. Her legs were weak and she found it hard to breathe.

Then, voices echoed in her head.

"Love, don't go. Come back. We are waiting for you.”

It was a voice, a voice of a man she had never heard before.

“Mate! We love you, wake up. We need you, my love….”

Lilly was surprised. The voice didn't just come from a man. But three!

Lilly looked around and now it was getting dark all around. She tried to stand up and leave but something seemed to pull her further back. Far away to a darker place.

Lilly felt something very heavy pressing down on her body. Her whole body felt very sore. Her eyes were so heavy, it looked like she wanted to fall asleep.

Before Lilly was completely unconscious, she heard another voice.

“My love, I can't wait to see your eyes and smile at us. Please wake up soon, baby girl.”
