Marly POV
When I woke up the next morning, after finally falling asleep, I had bruises on my stomach. Nobody had beaten me, so I did not understand where they had come from. My stomach ached like I had taken a beating, but it made no sense.
Zara was still quiet. “Zara?” I asked but heard no response. I was sorry for her; we had just met, and I was already a disappointment. “You are not a disappointment, Marly,” Zara said softly before adding, “Our mate is the disappointment,” she replied before receding back in my mind.
Looking at the clock, I raced downstairs to prepare breakfast for my family. “You are late,” my father scowled at me. “Sorry, Gamma,” I replied quickly preparing bacon and eggs for my family. I was not allowed to call my parents mom and dad. I could only address them with their titles. My little brother was able to call them mom and dad, but he was also a Gamma, so it made sense, I guessed.
I was never permitted to eat with the family, so I never ate much. My mother was constantly telling me men did not want a curvy woman. Some curves I could not help, like my ample breasts, and hips. I knew the popular girls were petite, but I had a secret. I had a mate, and he loved my curves.
Racing to catch the bus, I heard my mother yell at me, “Do not be late today, Omega. We are having guests this evening, and I want a meal prepared for when they arrive. I waved to acknowledge her as I raced to the bus stop. Sighing, I had already missed it, so I made the long walk to school.
As I was walking along an SUV stopped beside me. My mate was driving, “Hop in Omega,” he said. I smiled at him, eager to spend time with him. I noticed his future Beta in the front seat, so I opened the door to the back seat. I was surprised to see a couple other of Maxwell’s friends there.
I felt uneasy as I slipped into the vehicle, hesitating and debating if I should just walk. Before I could decide, an arm reached across me, slamming the door shut and deciding my fate. Maxwell stepped on it, and I flung back in the seat. The guys laughed, as I scrambled to get my seatbelt on.
“Didn’t I say she was a looker?” Maxwell said to his friends. I was basking in the compliment, until I shyly looked at his friends. There were looks of hunger in their eyes, “She certainly is, Alpha,” the Beta replied, licking his lips. I glanced at the others, who were equally staring, “I love those curves,” one said, making me feel sick to my already aching stomach.
I sat up in shock as the male closest to me put his hand on my leg. “And she’s jumpy, I like that in a she-wolf,” he murmured. I looked to see Maxwell glancing back at me, with a smirk on his face. Something was very wrong, and I needed to get out of the vehicle sooner than later.
As we took another turn, I realized we were not on the road to get to school. “I think you missed the turn, Maxwell,” I said before I could think. “Maxwell? The Omega is comfortable enough to call you by your first name?” the Beta teased. Maxwell glared at me in the mirror, “Sorry, I meant Alpha,” I blustered.
We took another turn and ended up at what looked like an abandoned cabin. I felt the tension inside me rise. I had not paid attention to where we were going so I did not know if I could find my way back to the main road. Opening his door, Maxwell got out of the vehicle and opened mine.
He held his hand out to help me out of the vehicle. I felt the sparks bounce between us and they calmed my racing heart. Maxwell was my mate. He would not let anything bad happen to me. He had all but claimed me yesterday. He smiled at me, as he walked around the vehicle.
“We are going to be late for classes,” I reminded him. He simply chuckled, “That is okay. Missing a class here or there, will not hurt,” he suggested as he tightened the hold on my hand. “Maxwell, you are hurting me,” I said, trying to tug my hand from his hold. He eased up the hold, and I was able to stand there with him holding my hand. I was excited to be touching him, even if his friends were looking at us oddly.
“Come on Maxwell, you said we would all get to enjoy her,” the Beta said. I was smiling, until the words registered in my mind. What? What did that mean? I looked to Maxwell, alarmed at what I had just heard. “What does he mean?” I asked hesitantly. “It means we are going to play a little game,” Maxwell told me.
The guys started to chuckle, “What kind of game?” I asked. “Hide and seek,” he replied. I did not like the sounds of this. “But this game is adult hide and seek,” he replied softly. “What does that mean?” I asked, certain I did not want the answers. “It means, you hide, and we seek you out,” Maxwell replied.
“And then what? You hide and I find you?” I asked, naively hoping I was right. Maxwell laughed, “Not quite, Omega; you see, whoever finds you gets to have you,” he replied. My heart tripped, “What do you mean, have me?” I asked. “They get to fuck you,” he said, coldly.
I tried to release my hand from Maxwell’s, but his grip tightened. “I do not want to play,” I replied, trying to tug my hand from Maxwell’s. He released my hand suddenly, which plummeted me to the ground. “That’s too bad. You will do what I say,” Maxwell said angrily. I shook my head, “No, I will not,” I responded, trying to look around for an escape route.
Maxwell moved towards me, as the others circled around me. “You have no choice, Omega. Nobody can hear you, if you scream,” one of the guy’s told me. I felt tears fill my eyes, but I knew this was not the time for tears. I looked to Maxwell, “Why are you doing this? You are my mate,” I said, standing in front of them.
The Beta burst out laughing, “Are you fucking kidding me, Maxwell? The Omega is your mate?” he said, as the others joined in. Maxwell’s face went red with rage, before he backhanded me. I felt to the ground again, as Zara came forward, “Stay strong, Marly. This is just a moment in time; I will help you,” she said in my mind.
“It would help if you shifted,” I spit out at her. “It is not time, Marly. I am sorry,” Zara replied softly, staying with me. “Of course she is lying. I would never be mated to an Omega,” Maxwell said, with a chuckle. I felt a stabbing pain my chest, as Zara whimpers in my mind.
“Get up,” Maxwell demanded of me. I slowly stood up, holding a hand to my cheek. It was throbbing, and I felt even more sick now, with the headache that was taking over. “You get thirty seconds to hide,” Maxwell said with a smirk. I looked at him in shock, before I looked to the others. They were eagerly awaiting the opportunity to chase me.
I took one last look before I took off. The Beta started counting as my heart raced. Where could I go? How would I hide from them? They all would know my scent. I raced behind the shed and saw a doorway that was covered with brush. Racing towards the door, I cautiously opened it, not wanting to disturb the trees. I slipped inside, and pulled the door firmly shut behind me.
It was my worst nightmare. Pitch black, with the feeling of things crawling over me. I held my breath, hearing nothing outside. I was confident I had the best hiding space. Maybe they would forget about me and leave me here. After a while, I will venture out, but for now I would sit tight in this hell hole.
Just as I started to relax, the door was whipped open. Standing there were all four men, smirking, “Found you, Omega.”.
Marly POV I screamed as they dragged me out of the shelter. I kicked my feet out, trying to wrestle away from them. They were stronger, and there were two of them holding my arms. The other two grabbed my legs. No, this cannot be happening, I thought to myself, as tears rolled down my cheeks. “I get to go first,” the Beta said, when Maxwell growled. “I go first,” he said, as if staking his claim. “Okay, then I am next,” the Beta replied. I looked to Maxwell, “Please do not do this,” I begged. I thought I saw a look of remorse but before I could cling to it, it was gone. Tossing me on the ground, two guys held my hands, while Maxwell stood between my legs. I was still trying to kick him when he put a booted foot on my leg, holding my leg still. If he put any more pressure on it, he would break it. “No fighting your fate, Omega,” he snarled. He kneeled in front of me, undoing the button to my jeans and pu
Marly POV I quickly prepared the meal, ensuring it was ready just in time. I failed on having an epic dessert, but I would suffer those consequences later. “Marly, where the hell are you?” I heard my mother curse at me. “Is everything ready?” she demanded. “The meal is prepared; I have fruit for dessert,” I said quietly. “Supper is ready, please join me in the dining area,” I heard my mother say with her fake happy voice. As they moved to the dining area, I plated the food and started to take it into the dining room. As I saw the guests, my footstep faltered. My mate was here with his father. What was he doing here? I quickly looked away from his smirking face and moved to place food in front of the Alpha and Maxwell. I then put the food in front of my family members, before turning to leave the room. “Aren’t you joining us, Marly?” I heard the Alpha ask. He had never spoken to me before. It caused my heart to race. D
Marly POV I stiffened as I entered the vehicle. Maxwell closed the door behind me, while he stopped for a moment to speak with his father. His father smirked at him, and glanced my way. I could tell they were discussing me, but I had no idea what they would be saying. I could not imagine Maxwell would indicate I was his mate. I was a lowly Omega. Maxwell went around the other side of the of the car and entered the driver’s seat. He turned on the vehicle and quickly sped out of the yard. I grabbed the door handle, fear racing up my spine. “Calm down, Omega. You will be fine,” Maxwell muttered as we raced towards the pack house. “Why are you doing this?” I asked him. “Doing what?” Maxwell asked, distracted. “Why are you forcing me to work on your party?” I questioned. “You are the best and my father will only accept the best. Do not think it was my idea,” he replied. “I, Marly Bent, reject you …,” I started to say when
Marly POV I cringed inside as I stepped away from him. He grabbed my arm, “Not so fast,” he snarled as he dragged me back against his body. I could feel his hard member at my back, and I started to fight to get away from him. “Not so strong now, huh?” he said, as he turned me around. “How did you do that earlier?” he asked as he stared at my lips. “I do not know what you mean,” I whispered, as his lips started to descend on mine. “I will find out,” he murmured as his lips landed on my lips. I gasped and he took the opportunity to slide his tongue against mine. I bit down as hard as I could, tasting his blood in my mouth. Maxwell screamed as he shoved me away from him. “You bitch,” he said, as he spit blood from his mouth. He stepped forward raising his hand and backhanding me, once again today. “Who do you think you are?” he demanded as he loomed over me. “I do not want you,” I replied coldly as I stayed
Marly POV The thrusting of my mate in my body, was causing me pain, but I was happy to know that I had found my mate, Maxwell Sampson. He was the soon to be named Alpha for our pack, Red Pines Pack. I was an Omega, and I was an embarrassment to my family. My family had never disillusioned me. My fate as a she-wolf was to serve the Pack.
