Chapter 13

Isabelle's POV

I raced towards the exit of the pack ignoring the rain still pouring down violently, the only thing I could hear were my footsteps and the raging thunder and rustling of the leaves beneath my leg as I ran as fast as I could, I didn’t want Ethan to come back and find out I was nowhere to be found, besides now that it was raining I would be able to cover my scent quite well as it would quickly diminish in the air.

Lots of things ran through my mind, I couldn’t help but think of the servants that I couldn’t appreciate for taking care of me, I felt a sort of guilt but now there’s no turning back, I covered my hair as I approached the border when I sighted some werewolves guarding the gate, a sigh of frustration escaped my lips, there was no other exit that I could think of, there were barbed wires if I decided to climb over the wall which was impossible, If I decide to dig below, I would be caught and who knows what sort of traps that must have been laid there.
